I'm actually sad I received this color when spring is just around the corner as the only time I'd wear this is in the fall and winter. That said, the product was VERY comfortable on the lips. I'm quite surprised as I don't think I've ever felt anything like it, it literally feels like nothing is on the lips. Not sucking the moisture, not giving moisture, just nothing. To me this is a plus, as even the more comfy matte finishes always feel even a little bit drying, but with this one I even forget that I'm wearing it. I did not test it out for 16hrs because realistically I don't wear lipsticks that long, but the color stayed saturated and in place for about a good 7 hours. As I said, I'm more of a nude lip person, so I probably wouldn't wear this deep color very much. However, I did try sheering it out on the lips and it gives this really cool 90s mid tone brown lip color that's more my everyday speed and I've been enjoying it like that once I was done testing it out full coverage. I typically I wouldn't buy a lipstick this expensive, but if the formula and color is special, I don't mind paying. Given the comfy formula and the tones of nudes in this finish, I really feel like one of the middle shades of the line would be my perfect "nude." So I'd consider paying for the shade 200 or 300 refill once I'm done with the current nude I'm using from another brand.

It didn’t sink into any lines, it didn’t bleed out at all and I didn’t use a lip liner either - this is just a very high quality lipstick. I feel like a lot of brands just make basic stuff and slap their brand on it and inflate the price, but that’s not true for this Dior lipstick; you can tell a lot of attention to detail went into this lipstick not only towards the packaging design but the formula and comfortablity. I prefer this formula to all other matte formulas because of how comfortable it is. I wish all lipsticks were like this. The shade itself is also universally flattering - I truly love the color on me. It’s still a very expensive lipstick but it’s 100% worth it. I’m probably going to be wearing red lipstick as often as Taylor Swift while I save up to buy more shades.
