Dior Lips presents itself as a high-end lip product but falls short of expectations. While the concept of a pH-changing lip stain with a balmy effect sounds appealing, the execution leaves much to be desired. Upon application, the product delivers a pleasantly balmy effect that lasts for about 30 minutes. However, this initial hydration quickly fades, leaving behind only the lip stain, which lasts for a couple of hours. Unfortunately, the overall effect is quite drying on the lips. The cheap plastic feel undermines the luxurious image one would expect from Dior, especially given the hefty price tag of $40 plus taxes. In summary, Dior Lips does not justify its cost. The combination of underwhelming performance, questionable ingredient choices, and subpar packaging makes it a rip-off in my opinion. I would not recommend this product to others looking for a reliable lip stain.

What it is: An iconic Dior lip balm with 97 percent natural-origin ingredients that awakens the natural color of lips with a custom glow and up to 24 hours of hydration. I also love the packaging of this. A transparent pink with the beautiful Dior details but they recently reformulated this and now it has a different packaging as well which I would surely get to compare and also get more shades because I love the formula so much. They offer upto 13 shades but they are not all available in all countries, it depends where you are located. I am only interested with the Coral shade and the transparent version so I can use it as a normal lip balm. There is a slight minty scent and feel on your lips but very faint so it won't bother you or even notice while having it on. ... MoreWhat it is: An iconic Dior lip balm with 97 percent natural-origin ingredients that awakens the natural color of lips with a custom glow and up to 24 hours of hydration. This lip balm has been in my rotation for almost a decade. I fell in love with Lip Glow in 2015 after a recommendation from a friend, and I’m on my 8th tube now. So far, I’ve really loved the universal shade, the Pink shade, the Lilac shade, and the Berry shade. Each balm gives your lips a flush of color (subtle but in a bold way) and a superior shine. The balm actually warms up on your lips and enhances your own lip color - both tinting and intensifying it. I now switch between the Lip Glow and the equally beautiful Lip Oil (which is another must-buy, check out my review!) depending on the day and occasion, but the Lip Glow is my tried and true all these years. Simply cannot live without it. The balm comes in a tube which allows for easy application. I usually ... MoreThis lip balm has been in my rotation for almost a decade. I usually never use luxury lip products with the expectation they’ll be very moisturizing, but Lip Glow blew me away. This formula keeps my lips hydrated and leaves them baby soft for hours. I’ve eaten food and inadvertently wiped off the balm, but my lips still remain smooth and plump. I recently received the Dior Addict Gift Set for my birthday (thanks Mom!), which contains the full size Lip Glow in Pink, the full size Lip Maximizer in Pink, and a mini size Lip Maximizer in Rose Nude. It’s the best value set in my opinion, and allows you to try both products! Try it, you won’t regret it!

When I buy decorative lip cosmetics, in most cases I choose translucent and nourishing textures, such as Dior Addict Lip Glow balm. Dior's packaging is like a holiday, chic, shiny and absolutely thoughtful. This year, by the way, the famous balm was released in an updated case. The fact that this is a luxury brand is indicated on all sides, the color of the case matches the color of the balm. I'll start with the aroma, it reminded me of mint drops, but with a very light, I would even say delicate, tasty smell, the first seconds have a slight cooling effect on the lips. What else is interesting?! The color does not appear immediately, on me it starts within 20-30 seconds and it is such a beautiful soft pink shade, like the color of a dream! This balm looks like shine in the sun without it, gives the lips a magnificent natural color and smoothness, acts on the lips as a luxurious care product (how could it be otherwise for such a price), it contains 97% natural ingredients, nourishes and saturates, gives a feeling of comfort, You can't feel it on your lips. In addition to oils, there is also wax, which prolongs the durability and prevents this care + decorative product from spreading.
Excellent products. I ordered gifts for my daughter's birthday and my son's Christmas, and they arrived the next day. One of the gifts was the new Dior Homme Intense Eau de parfum intense. Wow, it smells amazing, and my son loves it. I had two of the gifts engraved which included the Dior Homme Intense bottle and it looks amazing. I also requested that the Dior Addict Lip Glow that my daughter’s name be engraved on it and it is lovely. I have read reviews where they say products weren't engraved, which worried me, but I didn't need to be. I am wondering if that is rival companies putting up negative reviews. They were delivered by DPD, who delivered them to my neighbours despite my house being less than a 30-second walk away. I would have preferred them being delivered to my door; however, I am lucky to have lovely neighbours, however this is not Dior’s fault. I had to contact customer service several times, and they were excellent and positively delightful.
Love Dior lip balms, especially paired with the lip oils, and this Rosewood shade is no exception! I’ve been using the Pink and Cherry shades with the lip oils for several years but wanted to try another shade. Rosewood is the perfect sheer, glowy nude The balm is hydrateing and the hue lasts several hours. Layered with the lip oil adds a ton of shine while filling in my lips completely with plumping effects and deep hydration. Next, I’m going to try the Mahogany. I think this is a very universal shade and that unlike many nude lip products adds a glowing hue of rosy pink to brighten up my face. Dior lip products like this balm are very expensive, but Canadian winters and my aging lips require the TLC it offers. If you’re looking for a deeply hydrating lip balm, this may not be the best choice as I’d look to less tinted and cheaper lip balms if curing chapped lips is what you are looking for. For me, this is a wonderful replacement for lipsticks that will accentuate my aging lips especially in colder months. Together with the lip oil, however, this is absolutely unlike any other lip products I’ve ever tried before and worth the investment. I use mine for long periods of time and find the quality lasts to the last use. These are the only lip products I seem to use until they are completely gone too, so that’s how I know it’s a good buy. Rosewood is now my favourite of the ones I’ve bought. Highly recommend you try it!
I've been on the hunt for a replacement for a lipstick Ulta used to carry years ago: Lipstick Queen in the Hello Sailor color. I loved that lipstick because it was incredibly moisturizing, lasted for hours and provided a beautiful natural-looking tint. Of course, it's no longer available. I have tried some other ph-driven lip stains (e.g. Jane Iredale), and though they certainly have an impact on color, they all fall short with respect to moisture. Someone left a comment on Reddit suggesting that the berry color of this Dior lip balm was close in color to Hello Sailor, so I thought I would give it a try. It's a "lip balm" after all, so it should be moisturizing...or so I thought. Nope. Is it close in color? Sure. It's within an acceptable range. It's a "lip balm" after all, so it should be moisturizing...or so I thought. Nope. Is it close in color? Sure. It's within an acceptable range. But it is waxy in texture like a dry (closer to matte) lipstick, not moist. Were I to keep it I would be using it for color only, and that's not at all what I'm looking for in a "lip balm." Extremely disappointed in Dior. What a sham. Especially at this price point. This is the first Dior beauty product I've tried, and given this experience it will be the last.
I genuinely adore this lip balm, espicially in the shade mahogany. It looks a lot more brown in the pictures here, but it's a bit more red irl. I'm fair-ish skinned (very light brown if u will) with a yellow undertone (not warm; yellow), so it's very difficult for me to find generic colours that look pretty on me. Pink looks too purple on me and red looks too orange, but this colour is STUNNING. The shine it adds to my lips is also so pretty. I get complimented every time I wear this, and I've just recently found out that at least 4 of my friends ended up buying this because of how nice it looks when I wear it. HOWEVER. it loses a star from me solely because frankly, you can probably find smth that offers the same level of moisture and probs a very similar colour ... MoreI genuinely adore this lip balm, espicially in the shade mahogany. i LOVE this new pink lilac because i’m a major lavender/lilac girl. i’ve used the dior lip oils before and they were okay so i wanted to try this balm because it has a cuter package with the dior name on it. anyway, initially i love the color. it gave a nice soft pink tone that was subtle and looked natural. the texture is perfect. buttery, smooth, adds some shine. i used it as a regular lip balm but then toward the end of the day i looked in the mirror and my lips were fuchsia pink! why would you need a PH pigment in a LIP BALM which you’d use multiple times a day and as such would continue adding more and more pigment. to me, that makes no sense unless you want a hot pink/fuchsia lip that’s stained. i love the initial color but hate the color afterwards. the end ... Morei LOVE this new pink lilac because i’m a major lavender/lilac girl. i’ve used the dior lip oils before and they were okay so i wanted to try this balm because it has a cuter package with the dior name on it. anyway, initially i love the color. it gave a nice soft pink tone that was subtle and looked natural. the texture is perfect. buttery, smooth, adds some shine. i used it as a regular lip balm but then toward the end of the day i looked in the mirror and my lips were fuchsia pink! why would you need a PH pigment in a LIP BALM which you’d use multiple times a day and as such would continue adding more and more pigment. to me, that makes no sense unless you want a hot pink/fuchsia lip that’s stained. i love the initial color but hate the color afterwards. the end color just doesn’t even go with the fact that it’s a lilac balm. i like the overall consistency of the product but the PH pigment being quite abundant and too bright is not for me. i think the NARS balms are more my style given they’re just tinted and don’t have the ph/staining pigment
