I love how versatile the colours are. It’s gives me a soft look, and as well as a glam-ed up look all in one palette. I also love how it comes with a eye primer and now I don’t have to buy an eye primer separately. It also has a shade for contour and highlight as well. It’s travel friendly as the packaging is quite simple and light. I am looking forward to buy other palettes in the same range. Disclaimer: Makeup when applied has many factors affecting it on how it sets. It depends on your skin type and also how you lay on your skincare.

I purchased this palette because DIOR was reformulating everything and going "clean" I have many of their eye pallets and loved the formula. The quads were creamy and pigmented. This was somewhat powdery with a small amount of kick up. The colors however were cool and that is what I wanted. More likely than not, this will be the final purchase from Dior due to their desire to be a clean company and appeal to a different market. Me? I cant see spending upwards of almost 100 dollars with a six month shelf life. So sad.

I was really excited about this- I had it engraved and was thrilled when it finally arrived. They are highly pigmented, which I love, BUT its not neutral nor cool toned. This is not the 1st time I’ve noticed that Dior’s eyeshadows have a warm shift to them. Their neutral colors all still have a sort of orange shift to them. I love they way they all look, just apparently on someone else. My cool undertones just don’t look great with their “neutral” aka warm shift coloring.

This is my second backstage palette. It’s just as great as my first, but different colors. This one is neutrals. I could literally wear them every day, except I would have to neglect my other eyeshadows…I really like the size and thinness of the palette. I could easily stack them on top of each other and they would take up very little space. Each palette contains enough color choices for several looks. The base as also fantastic. The creamy powder consistency allows easy application with any brush, cotton swab, or even your (clean) finger in a pinch!
I almost passed on this after reading some really bad reviews. I have pale skin and dry sensitive eyes and I was worried this would burn or itch according to some reviewers. I am happy to say it does neither. I really cannot say why people are unhappy with the shimmers. It’s not a glittery ultra flashy colourpop palette if that’s what your looking for but I don’t think it’s ment to be. I think the shimmers are very noticeable but yet with a beautiful transition. My favorite thing about this palette is the primer! I have yet to own a palette with one built in, until now! Love the convenience! The cool toned palette is everything I hoped it would be. It leans a bit more purple vs gray and is absolutely stunning. I’m purchasing another palette.
I purchased the shade Amber Neutrals during Sephora's spring savings event and it truly is such a great little palette. I've become more obsessed with the smaller palettes of up to 9 shades these days (as it is a lot more organized and easier to look at/find the shade you need). The eyeshadows themselves did not disappoint. I wear this from 8am until I take it off in the evening around 10pm and it looks the exact same as when I put it on. This eyeshadow palette does look more red-toned on the website because those are the shades that pop out more, but the reason I picked this palette over all the others is because it really does have both neutral & cooler toned nudes as well. Take a look at the top two shades and also the bottom right. There are some Dior products that I love (the face and body foundation!) but this eye palette, what a major disappointment. The light shades are so sheer and don't build, even on top of primer. The darker shade on the right are not warm, they are cool, muddy and don't blend well. Middle shades are lovely to look at in the pan, esp the bottom middle brown, the only shade that applied somewhat decently, but does not apply as a brown in colour, it comes off orangey and very sheer. And they made my eyes itch!! Seen review on other colour palettes that seem to apply better such as the khaki tones. This is going back, not useable.
Not the best from Dior Backstage Range. I am not big on Dior makeup in general, I found the brand to be overpriced and mediocre to poor in quality, however I do love the Backstage range. This is the first eyeshadow product from the Backstage Range that I have tried. It lacked pigmentation and vibrancy, it also have a tendency to be blended into nothing and tend to have a grayness to the color after blending, which I often associate with poor quality eyeshadow products. Moreover many shades (even the brown) tends to be patchy, which is very dissappointing.I have had much better green eyeshadow from mainstream brands such as Viseart, Natasha and ABH. I will not recommend this eyeshadow to anyone.
This pallet is so gorgeous and subtle, it is the only eye make up I have used for the past six months. Lovely Cool neutral shades both matte and glistening, with an exquisite progression of barely mauve grey/pink for day to deeply rich deep taupe and purply-brown glow for night, possible. Nice neutral primer and lighter shades included. Just the perfect make up for me. I have dark brown hair and light/medium skin tone with hazel eyes, and this wonderful compact trust really works with my coloring. what I love about it is that it is subtle but can be built to a very dramatic and deep look. Very versatile and high quality product. The shadow doesn’t budge on me and looks freshly applied all day. amazing, really.
I love this palette. I purchased 002 cool neutrals. I always wear eyeshadow with either a primer or an eyeshadow base with powder. I prefer the primer. I read the other reviews where people said there wasn’t much pigmentation. But I did not find that to be the case. Rather, I found the pigmentation to be there but because the color palette is so neutral the colors don’t jump out. That said, you can definitely see the colors. What I really like about this palette is the bottom three colors are in a matte finish and the middle three colors are shimmery but not overdone. After I apply my primer I apply one of the lighter colors all over my lid and then begin working in one or two other colors. They blend really well. I went out with my neighbors the other night for dinner and one of my neighbors commented on my make up and asked me if I would show her how to do her make up. That evening I really went all out and did my eyes with eyeliner eyebrow pencil mascara blush bronzer and so on. She especially said that my eye make up looked great. My skin tone is fairly neutral and I can wear warmer tones or cooler tones. This is one of my favorite color tone palettes. Several of the colors look great all on their own by the way. And you can increase the intensity of the color and dramatic effect by using more of the darker colors. I’m quite happy with this product which is why I gave it a five star rating.
