I come with quick review of @dior liquid laquer in 999. It's a gorgeous liquid lipstick with shine finish. I bought it few weeks before and as much as I love the color(and the package of course🤭) the finish is very nice -slightly sticky however I was a bit dissapointed because sadly it dose feathers slightly outside the lip lines,even though I wore it with lip liner. It wasn't quite noticable to other people but I saw smudges after few hours of wear. I wonder if it has to do with my oily skin however I remeber I used to have laquer lipsticks from YSL and they did not bleed outside the liplines even after whole day wear. So I will continue using it maybe as a topper over matte lipstick but I think you should take it under consideration while buying it. There is a strong “lip product” scent but I don’t notice it much after it’s on. The way it sits on the lips, you definitely need to prep the lips and make sure you’re well hydrated before applying. A lip liner would also help since this product is quite liquid-y before drying down and it could bleed out slightly. Once it’s dried, it really does not come off and lasts quite a long time. Of course, if you have any oily food, it will. You can feel the product on the lips, but I don’t think it’s that uncomfortable. I would highly suggest removing this only when you are ready, with an oil-based makeup remover. Water and rubbing will not get it off. I haven’t tried with micellar water, but either way, the cleansing balm worked amazing, just need a little patience in making sure it’s all dissolved before going in for the wash. This is pretty great product if you like a shiny, bold, and long lasting lip. It’s basically a shinier version of a liquid lipstick. Overall, I thought it was pretty good, but texture wise, I still prefer a regular lipstick.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I really wanted to love this product but honestly, the formula is just not right. It’s so thin that I accidentally spilled it all over my floor just by tipping the container a little too much. I’ve never had that happen before. When I put it on, the thinness was evident because it immediately bled past my lip line. I did not have a matching lip liner but that is a must if you are going to be using this lacquer. The formula dries very fast so you have to work quickly and be precise in your application. There is not much room for error. When it does dry down, it remains just a little sticky but nothing too bad. It has a nice shine to it as well. The color payoff is excellent. It’s a leaf shaped precision applicator that makes lining your lips easy. The curves in the brush make filling even the fullest lips easy with one swipe. The formula is very pigmented and opaque. It’s also very comfortable to wear. They claim it won’t settle into lines and while i didn’t notice it feathering at all it does settle into lip lines so make sure your lips are very moisturized and recently exfoliated. All in all, it’s a great start for diors first time but, in my opinion, this should be taken back to the formulation team to have some changes made especially for the claims their making and the price tag it’s sporting.

Formula is something like a matte lip lacquer, goes on wet then dries down matte within 10 seconds! I find that the lipstick works best with only 1 coat and without smacking your lips together when freshly applied. With thick layers/ more coats it tends to become more prone to patchiness on the lips. Do take note that it will feel dry on the lips so if you have naturally dey lips this formula might not feel the most comfortable, but it’s up to each of our own preferences. Highly recommend moisturising your lips and getting rid of any dead skin before applying this product!As for the shade, it is the best natural shade for my lips. The colour is a mauve-y rose brown, great for any occasion! But even without mixing, these colors are gorgeous and classic. And flattering for a wide range of skin tones. Comfortable I was able to wear them all day with no flaking, no discomfort, no smearing, and no drying!
