I know this has blackcurrant and litchi, but I don't smell anything specific, just a light, fruity scent with an inital fresh and green scent. Unlike Delina, which is the quintessential rose-lychee perfume, this one isn't super sweet and jammy. After the sweet fruitiness dries down, there's a beautiful musk and cedar that grounds the perfume and creates a stunning scent bubble. Absolutely wearable year round but especially during the summer.

I like Diptype's perfumes as they are very unique. I love floral perfumes. So when I got a 7.5ml bottle of this as part of a beautifully packaged 5 piece tester set, I was very excited to try it. However, it really is quite a weak scent and not particularly floral. Depite being light in its scent it does make me feel a little nauseous. It's really hard to put my finger on why I don't like it but it smells almost cheap. If you love floral perfumes then I'd suggest trying a tester in a SpaceNK shop before purchasing this as you might be dissapointed like me. Shame.

I love Rose scented perfume. My all time favourite is Stella by Stella Macartney. However, they discontinued this perfume. A friend of mine mentioned that Eau Rose was similar because it is also light and fresh, and not a heavy rose scent. I took a risk and ordered this online. I wasn't disappointed. I love this scent. Many have commented on how lovely my perfumes smells. My only complain though, you have to keep spraying as the scent doesn't last long. I will try the perfume next time.
The opening reminds me of a dusty damp wooden cupboard. With carrots. This quickly morphs into the iris and rose mid notes. Powdery. Not a love for me but thankfully goes away fast enough. Fleur de peau dries down to an addictive musk on the skin where it stays for hours and hours.I received this in a discovery set and I think I may invest in a full bottle because the longest and most beautiful part is what I love. Lasts longer than orpheon and nicer on skin than clothes.

I love woody, iris perfumes ( and Diptyque perfumes generally) so I was excited to try this one, The musk is more prominent than I thought it would be. It’s definitely a powdery perfume but also a bit peppery. Unfortunately the musk smells a bit synthetic/soapy on my skin. I have other woody/musk/iris perfumes which i prefer where the iris is the main note. I think this would be great in cold weather on the right person. Definitely worth a try.
I hate to say I was really disappointed with this. Reviews talked it up SO much about smelling just like roses, but for me it was just super powdery and a tad sour, gave me a migraine, and just not it.I recently purchased the Venus et Fleur Rose Blanche Room Spray and have been using it nonstop as perfume which sounds crazy but they do not have a perfume. That stuff smells so so so much better in my opinion, really similar to their sweet roses. I was hoping this Diptyque was going to smell more like the Venus et Fleur type of roses. I recommend the Rose Blanche room spray if you are one of the few like me who disliked this scent, it’s delicious!
Usually a scent that reminds me of holidays means it’s one of those “summery” ones that just smells of sun cream / coconuts. This perfume is just a floral, there must be something specific in there that takes me back to childhood holidays, maybe a note from my mum’s old perfume. I love florals and always look for one a bit special, that you couldn’t find anywhere else. That’s the case here!Although, the EDTs by Diptyque aren’t very long lasting. Just in case you’re looking at the whole brand!
