Overall:Just wanted to update my review from the previous unit that I received. zZounds send me a replacement unit fast because the 1st RP 7000 MK2 I recurved died the moment I received it. So I received the defective unit Tuesday, dropped it off Wednesday and Thursday I had my replacement unit. Thank you zZounds for that fast turn around. I must say that I am very impressed so far with this turntable. I just love how it feels and the silver edition is so nostalgic. I’ll give it some time before I say that this is my new favorite turntable but all signs are pointing to that as of now. Solid build and awesome price point.

After buying my first few vinyl box sets, L.Ps and E.Ps I was undecided on what turntable to buy to play and mix these on.Watching the ever informative djkit videos, I settled on the RP7000 MK 2 as I didnt require USB connectivity or additional digital features. Instead the idea was to use through a line in-port on my Denon Prime 4 as an alternate deck when using the Denon in standalone. The RP7000 MK2 fits that bill and more, with Brake Adjust & Torque setting, reverse button and pitch scale setting buttons.Perfect for both playing and mixing when paired with a Reloop / Ortofon Concorde Cartridge and fitting any setup, wether as a complete Vinyl system with a mixer or as part of a combination of vinyl, digital &/or standalone. No issues whatsoever, perfect ... Overall:What else can be said? This turntable is amazing. I love the build quality and how powerful and feature packed it is. I bought two of them to go on my primary DJ setup. They work great and they are better than any Technics you could buy old or new. If you are a DJ and you might have to play on under powered Technics, you can always set this deck to "classic" on the dial and get a similar type of start up torque you'd experience on a Technics. I wish it came with a dustcover and cart, but for the price I caught this at I can't complain. I already had Ortofon Headshells and some JICO Shure M447 clones, so I'm good with that. If you want a basic workhorse turntable, look no further!

These are great dj turntables and what seemed an incredible price. Turns out they don’t come with carts and needles which is pretty misleading as they are not a “special price” by the time you buy those. I did email customer service to say that the ad and description should actually say this since the decks are pictured with carts on them.Cheers Stevie
Very nice turntables! I finally settled on these after not being able to find some decent Technics 1200's. I strictly use these tables for mixing and the digital pitch does take a bit to get used to. These tables have a lot of torque, so I keep the torque setting at the lowest.
Good turntable for mixing and scratching, but with lots of quality issues:1. Loose tonearm bearings2. Warped platters3. Noisy audio output from phono and preamp (hum and electronic interference)4. Pitch fader trims get unglued
So over the past 8 months I gradually purchased a pair of these turntables and a mixer to go along with them. First and foremost, the 7000s are the best bang for buck in terms of price to features/performance ratio that you can get for brand new DJ turntables at this current time. Ultra pitch, two start/stop buttons, 78 rpm, torque and break adjustment, removable target light, detachable cables, built-in preamp, etc. But I have had one issue with these, and a few other DJs I have spoken too also confirm this to be an issue. With cartridges that put out a super high output, the Concorde Scratch mk2s for example, either the tonearm base or the plinth will sometimes resonate with the music around the 300-400 hz range. With cartridges that put out a super high output, the Concorde Scratch mk2s for example, either the tonearm base or the plinth will sometimes resonate with the music around the 300-400 hz range. The other DJs I have spoken to tell me that sometimes the bearings on these are a little hit or miss and can raddle sometimes. I've also had really loudly pressed records, especially battle records, cause a sort of resonant metallic ring on a kick drum. I currently do not have speakers so I am hearing this all through headphones, so there is no possible feedback that may be coming from a speaker system that would cause this. I know this because when I just had one turntable, I used a Reloop branded Concorde black, which sounded amazing, if a little laid back. It has a 6 mv output. If you do get a set of these, and you have a relatively decent preamp, I would advise going with lower output carts to pair with these if you want to avoid the possible plinth/tonearm raddling issues.
Well I’ve owned the 7000MK2 for 3 weeks now and I can truthfully say they are pretty good.. set up is really easy the direct drive function is really cool if you like to scratch. I found manual pitch bending is easier.. can put that down to direct drive functionality.Overall are they worth the money? Yes, for a dj. These bad boys will age gracefully 👌
products were reloop rp 7000 mk2 and the accompanied hood which is an extra accessory. Because they were packed in the same big box the ultra heavy turntable crashed the fragile hood. i emailed the customer service attaching photos of the damaged item . they respond that they replace the product with a brand new one. so no problem at all. the turntable is amazing , i m not a dj but i wanted something reliable and i always prefer a direct vs belt drive. i would recommend this store to internet buyers.
