When the Mavic 3 came out everyone said that it wasn't a significant enough upgrade for still shooters to warrant the switch. Considering the cost to get like for like then (especially the cost of the pro RC) I tended to agree. However, when the Classic was released and it was available with the DJI RC (ie with the built in screen) that I already had experience with as I have the Mini 3 Pro, it was a bit of a no brainer.I know that I could have used the controller that I have already but having already used the Mini and MP2 in tandem to get the maximum flight time on a mornings shoot in the Lakes, I elected to have a dedicated controller for the Mavic. I was using the Smart RC with my MP2 and it was fantastic but if I'm honest, for what I use it for, I really don't ... MoreWhen the Mavic 3 came out everyone said that it wasn't a significant enough upgrade for still shooters to warrant the switch. I was using the Smart RC with my MP2 and it was fantastic but if I'm honest, for what I use it for, I really don't see any difference with the DJI RC, apart from it being much lighter.Anyway, I ordered the M3C with the Fly More Combo on the day of release and expected to be waiting for a couple of weeks but unbelievably it arrived 48 hours later (and think this was only because I placed my order in the evening) - thank you WEX.Unfortunately with the weather being as it has been, it was another week before I could fly it but from the moment I switched it on (not the first time as I had already installed all of the updates at home) I knew that I had made the right decision to upgrade. It powered up and linked to the remote very quickly, as it did to lock onto satellites and mark the home point (all things that you need to be assured of before taking off). As soon as launched it was immediately obvious that DJI have honed an already fantastic product in the Mavic Pro 2 and made it even better. It is more responsive in the way it flies and feels even more stable when hovering. The IQ/DR is better IMO too.I was flying with a good photography mate who I have managed to convince to start drone photography and the increased battery time in the Mavic 3 saw me using one battery for every 2 of his Air 2S.Very happy.

I purchased this a month ago and it has definitely been easy to fly and use.
Pros: Bought as a upgrade to my mavic pro platinum flys like a dream and video and pictures quality is the best I have seen from my many drones.Cons: Nope all is fantastic
Pros: Hassleblad lens and long battery lifeCons: Would have been nice if the drone and Rc controller could have been sold as a combo and not having to buy the battery pack separately
