I purchased this drone specifically for shooting video and images. I am not disappointed at all. The three lens/cameras do exactly what I needed. I love shooting 10-15 feet in the air and this is perfect for high quality portraits. Shooting through trees and landscapes. Pano's and 360. The possibilities are endless. I can stitch city scapes from the perfect height and time of day. I can go on an on and I am a huge fan of DJI. Their quality is second to none. I also have the Avata and I have owned several other DJI drones. I will probably never use another brand. Yes they cost but the quality is what you should expect.

This is my 4th DJI drone. I have owned/own the Mavic Pro Platinum, (2) Air 2S's and now the Mavic 3 Pro. Wow! Such an amazing drone with the 3-camera options. Thank you B&H for your stellar service and speedy delivery times. You guys come through every-single-time!

As an owner of the DJI Mavic 3 Pro, I'm genuinely impressed by this drone's abilities. It's not just a drone; it's a robust flying camera. Its 958g weight feels substantial in the hand, and its compact dimensions make it surprisingly portable. Its ability to soar through the sky at 21 m/s, resist winds of up to 12 m/s, and still capture stunning imagery is genuinely exceptional. But what sets this drone apart is its unparalleled 43-minute flight time and a remarkable 28km flight distance. The camera, co-engineered with Hasselblad, provides jaw-dropping imagery with its 20 MP and 48 MP sensors, and the image quality is simply unrivaled. The photos and videos I've shot, whether in 5.1K or 4K, have been crisp, clear, and beautifully color balanced. Huge upgrade from my phantom four pro. Much faster set up and take down. Smaller and more packable. The telephoto is ridiculously awesome with incredible stabilization. Although some issues with exposure control. Compared to normal camera. Battery life is amazing. But I think I prefer the older style remote that requires your phone, because the new all in one RC has time lags when you tap on it that I don't like. And the screen does not seem to be as bright. But there are other benefits to not needing your phone. Set up and take down of the remote is quicker because of that as well. I would get the fly more combo again. Although I have a Lowe drone backpack I much prefer to the pack the fly more combo comes with.
- Excellent drone with some minor issues:- Panorama stitching often incorrect and problematic.- Shooting in RAW with the 3x Camera (48mp) results in color banding on iOS preview, but editing in Lightroom mobile resolves the issue.- Flight time initially advertised as 40 minutes, but realistically lasts 25-30 minutes.- Zoom wheel functionality limited to explorer mode and video mode.- Significant lag when switching between cameras.- Very responsive and quick performance overall.- Remote control battery life is subpar but charges quickly.- Expensive batteries priced at $200 each.
I have done a separate review of the RC Pro under it's listing since I have most of my issues with it and how a firmware update in November of last year makes it automatically log out after a month regardless of use cripples the drone you have paired with it.On to the drone it self. It took me three tries to get a good one with a solid main camera but once I did, my corners were sharp and even and there was no odd areas of smearing or softness. I took it and 6 batteries to Iceland for a month and it was simply incredible, great flight time, flight behavior and solid connection. I am pleased enough with the platform that I added the new Mavic 3 Pro and use them both.Until DJI issues a new firmware that deals with the automatic log out of the RC Pro, I can not ... MoreI have done a separate review of the RC Pro under it's listing since I have most of my issues with it and how a firmware update in November of last year makes it automatically log out after a month regardless of use cripples the drone you have paired with it.On to the drone it self. I'm flying my new drone on a project I have in Louisiana and loving it. When I received my drone, I took it out of the box and immediately the drone needed an update which took 90 minutes. You must have internet connection for the 90 minute update and registering the drone. I'm grateful to have the 1TB. I did find when I filmed in 4k ProRes my personal computer system made it choppy, but when I reformatted to1080P, then it worked great on my system. So now the question is should I get a new system which is another 5K to work with the amazing 5.1 Prores 422HQ footage. What I love most about this system is the controls, no longer using my phone, their large touch screen is amazing, it's so much easier to fly. I've flown it 10 times in the first 2 weeks and all times ... MoreI'm flying my new drone on a project I have in Louisiana and loving it. I've flown it 10 times in the first 2 weeks and all times it's been great accept when I tried to fly it within 100 ft of a court house. I forgot being too close to government buildings will sometimes ground you. I have yet to test out the telephoto lens, pano, and many other features. But I did use active follow, which is incredible.
During my research into drone resellers, EmpireDrone was located within an hour of me. Instead of waiting for the drone to be shipped, I could pick it up myself. Purchasing my next drone was a breeze with Sean's help. During our conversation, he asked questions and listened to my needs. In addition to showing me which drones would be beneficial, he also explained why they would be. The Mavic 3 Enterprise was my choice. I never felt pressured by Sean to purchase a larger drone. They will be my first choice for all my drone needs for my drone business and I look forward to doing business with them again in the future.
The only problem I see at the moment is file naming. Always resets & cannot change the file naming as before .. really messed up! I wish they would have the option for 60/s & 50/s frames on the 70mm & 24mm camera. Also why not have 5k/30 for the 70mm. I also really liked the camera lock on shut down .... it doesn't.The horizon has not even wavered in the slightest, always dead on! Stability is great as before. All of that aside, some of this will be in future updates I hope.I still give it 5 stars!
Stability, horizon & image colors are perfect right out of the box this time. Love the 70mm camera at 4k/60, but 5.1k/30 would be a nice FW upgrade. The 166mm/7x camera is better than the previous 3. I used the 7x about half the time on the 3. I think the 70mm will be used about 70% of the time. Wish it had 5.1k/50 like the 24mm. Sorry about all my wish list items, but the 3 Pro is really fantastic & solid. It does fit in my old case without the muzzle. Accessories would be nice to find sometime.
