this is an AMAZING piece of equipment with a SUPER SOLID metal case construction, all magnetic docking for 2x wireless mics and 1x wireless receiver. the screen on the receiver looks almost like oled as it's super super bright and the turn dial is clicking and very tactile so you don't accidentally adjust the volume or toggles wrongly. it's so smart and able to detect how many mics are in use. when you dock 1 of the 2 mics, the screen switches to a single mic pickup screen. amazing for this value. super super good value here including the 2 wind fluff balls, the docking charge case AND a carry pouch. love it. feels like $1,000 value in another S- brand product. seriously don't think further. super good value for quality, easily above the other s-brand. love it.

I bought the transmitter only after understanding it would work directly with my iPhone using Bluetooth specifically for using it with TikTok. Unfortunately it wasn’t quite that easy. I had to use a third party app called blackmagic cam and then save to my photos to listen to the audio before then uploading to TikTok. Very convoluted but worked and the extra time saved me buying the receiver as well. I don’t know how it would work with the receiver and TikTok.The sound quality when held is great, I’m having difficulty when it’s attached to my clothes. It’s heavier than I thought so better on sturdier clothing.I am pleased with it though, especially the sound quality.

Let me first say that I have had many drones, currently use a Mavic 3 pro, and it's an AMAZING piece of equipment that I use multiple times per week, so I'm a DJI fanboy for sure...Now for the Mic 2...... First problem, the Orange (output) TRS 3.5mm port on the receiver no longer functions at all. I tried factory reset, updating firmware... it's dead. So to get audio to my camera I have to use the headphone output, which is not as good a quality. The safety tracks stopped working, so no matter factory resetting or firmware updates, the safety track shows enabled, but it's never recorded, it's just completely not there, can't figure out how to fix that. The case only charges the transmitter on the right side, the left side no longer charges the mic, so I have to ... Like many others I called and talked to support, they said they have no knowledge of the product so the transferred me... I waited to be transferred for 59 minutes then at 60 minutes the line was disconnected..... Wow, just wow.

This little microphone works not only completely independent from any other DJI hardware - it does not need any other hardware to become a useful little gadget! It records audio and stores it on an internal memory from where you can transfer it later to a computer and use it. This feature can either be used as a backup for a transmitted audio or intentionally, as you might want to take a voice note for yourself, record some atmo sound or whatever. And thanks to its bluetooth connectivity, you can connect it to you phone, your pc or a camera. Use it in a Zoom or Teams conference or to narrate what you are filming. It also lets you connect a little lav mic, if you don't want to have this matchbox-sized thing dangling on your shirt.
I'm a Rode guy and I have the Rode Wireless Pro but I bought this for my quick on the go and oh boy I'm glad I did. This system has to be the most well thought out of them all. From the very intuitive touchscreen functionality (with the introduction of thr new fly wheel), to the new Bluetooth connectivity to other devices, to familiar and tested ability to attach directly to a cell phone with the provided hard attachment for both USB and lightening without the clunky wires, I have exactly what I need for run and gun projects as well as more professional gigs. And I didn't even mention that the recordings are 32-bit float that serves as an instant and very reliable back up no matter what the range is for wireless connectivity.I can go on and about the features but ... I AM TOTALLY HAPPY with my purchase. This thing delivers and does it well.I must admit though, I'm sticking to my Rode system for the more professional jobs because I like it a bit better but that should not be interpreted in any way that the DJI system is worse. It's just different for my needs.I hope this helps.
I originally bought the rode wireless go II but ended up returning and getting this. It works great and to my ears sounds good. Granted I'm no audio expert but it works well for on the fly interviews or just capturing better audio for vlogs. I like that it has separate buttons for power, record and Bluetooth pairing. The rode mic had one button and I was never sure if I had captured sound. Also it works with any phone and isn't just specific to Apple devices (something that annoyed me about the rode). I like that you can add a lav or just record with the onboard mic. Maybe one day I'll upgrade to get the receiver and other transmitter.
Many things have been said about this wireless microphone system, both good and bad. As for the negative, I have read complaints about DJI putting its logo everywhere, even on the magnets. True, but I personally don't see that as a decrement in the product's performance. The truth is that this system works amazingly. I recently tested it on a live video recording up in the Alps with a lot of wind, and the noise reduction was simply outstanding. It was as if the speaker was talking in an indoor studio. The battery life is remarkable, the design is slick, and the portability is exceptional. This last feature is fundamental for people like me who hike great distances with a backpack full of gear, and every gram you save becomes essential. Honestly, I have nothing but ... I have 2 DJI Mic 2s & the DJI Pocket 3. I didn't see a need for the charging case or the receiver. I find it's easier to just carry a charging cord and the new mics are much more user-friendly than the previous DJI wireless mics as the controls are now on the camera screen. So happy for the automatic connection when you start the camera recording. I haven't needed the floating 32-bit backup recording yet but it is comforting knowing it is there if I need it. Having one white and one black helps keep files organized when doing multiple shots in a day.My only wish is that 2 mics would auto-connect when the camera starts recording instead of just 1 of them.
I've used these for 3 interviews now and they're phenomenal. The audio quality is amazing and 32bit float is a game changer in such a small package. Add a little noise reduction, eq, compression, and add a limiter in post, and you're basically DONE. (Adobe's new enhance audio feature is almost a 1-click solution for most of this).I love the addition of the physical knob, I hope that trend continues with v3 down the road. My only wish is that I could pair additional transmitters to the receiver and see everything at a glance rather than have to buy a duplicate set if you want more mics.
I am a wedding videographer, I bought these mics in July after reading so many good reviews and the hype about the 32bit. I have TRIED to use these at several weddings but they're insanely unreliable. You can search reddit and other forums and you'll find the same complaints everywhere but DJI doesn't appear to have a fix. And if you're outside of the narrow 30 day window B&H will not let you return them. (IMO 30 days isn't enough time to establish if a product works for most photographers and videographers..)The mics are unreliable, and for someone who does weddings - reliability is key! Wedding audio is a once in a lifetime moment, huge moments in someone's life that cannot just be re-recorded unreliable audio recording is a major issue! Here's a list of the reoccurring issues I have had with this system:More often than not, only get 1 of the 2 transmitters will connect to the receiver. The transmitters only work with certain Lav's, and there doesn't seem to be any consistency with which they work. One day I used a Tascam Lav and the transmitter fed into the receiver just fine. The very next weekend the same set up wouldn't work with a Lav at all. As soon as I unplugged the Lav the transmitter started feeding to the receiver again. Then I tried a Rhode Lav, same issue.Recently, the transmitters themselves have just stopped recording altogether. If I press the record button it blinks red once and vibrates. (If it were recording, it would vibrate then the light would be constant red. The single red blink means it's not recording) This weekend the transmitter actually stopped recording HALFWAY THROUGH A CEREMONY and I lost all of the audio for the later half of the wedding. The next day at a different wedding, it wouldn't record at all and I had to break out my back up gear.I have done firmware updates, emptied the transmitters of any previous recordings and am still coming up with the same issues. I am beside myself with frustration and between poor customer service and B&H and DJI. If you shoot weddings or any other event that is a one and done, can't be re-recorded event. DO NOT BUY THESE!
