This is my 4th DJI Drone. While it is limited, relative to my bigger ones, it is a great niche product. I'm getting the prop guards so I can train the kiddies on how to fly. It is incredibly light and precise. The camera, both still and video are outstanding, just like my other DJI products. My favorite part is the fact that it is much quieter than the other products and can fly without really being too noticeable. Everything works!

I also picked this one because you do not have to register it. Its little but powerful and fun to fly!!

DJI mini drones were recommended as a first time user drone. It does not disappoint. Easy and fun to use. Photo and video quality is great. Price was reasonable and great quality. Would definitely recommend DJI brand and the mini SE.

So far its flawless. handles 6-10 MPH wind well. For such a small sensor it takes pretty good photos with a bit of in camera exposure adjustments and editing in post. However, the ND filters seem to disable the gimbal. not sure why? Definitely order one or two spare batteries. Only get about 22-25 min of flight time depending on wind speed.
Only worked twice. The control doesn't connect to drone. Uninstall-reinstall software, update software, nothing. I have over 5 hours of troubleshooting, re-installing software. Next time will be a dedicated control. I would not recommend this model at this time.
As the headline states, this is an excellent drone to practice flying with. It is far less expensive than say a Mavic 2 or Mavic Air so the risk of losing a large investment is significantly lower. The picture quality is great and the video quality is good. The lack of obstacle avoidance sensors simply means the pilot needs to be more aware of his or her surroundings, which is common sense anyway. I will be purchasing more DJI drones in the future as my business expands.
The DJI mini SE is extremely stable in windy conditions and the Video and Still pics are great. The only small issue I have is the Controller to Smart Phone cable is difficult to connect to the controller and that it is too short connect an apple I pad. These are available on line from Drone Accessories at a reasonable price.
Been looking at drones for a long time. Everything I had found was either a toy with a 5 minute flight time or, way over priced for my pocket book. These are still pricey. But, easy payments helps. And, it is definitely NOT a toy. Great video. Great rc response. And, wow! It's snappy. Once I get this one payed off, I'll be getting the mini 2. I like the idea of avoidance, follow me and way points. In which this model doesn't have. But, that's fine. It will create a better pilot.Thank Finger Hut.
This is overall a great drone for the price. The only issue I had with it is I crashed into a tree at about 8 feet, and even after tilting sideways it didnt shut off like it should, causing it to slam into the ground harder, and the top case to break and the propellors to break too. its an easy fix, and other than the propellors its just looks.
Easy to fly and stable in the air. The camera and gimbal worked nicely with stable videos in moderate wind. Video quality was very good. Fun to fly. The reasonable cost was why I purchased this one,
