I've been using this gimbal for a few weeks now and so far it is absolutely amazing. The convenience of the magnetic snap-in is fantastic when you need to do a quick snapshot or a video clip on the go without having to manually adjust the balance of the phone every time. This is a big improvement on the previous model which I also own.The new features in the DJI Mimo companion app are also pretty interesting, although it seems like moving object tracking is a little finicky at the moment. Not sure if it is the software or the gimbal at fault though.Overall if you are filming/photographing on your phone a lot, this is highly recommended.

My wife had been wanting to get one of these for a while and I had been quite hesitant as I didn't think it could possibly be that good, but man was I wrong. It works really well, though you have to be very particular on the placement of the phone holder and make sure it's perfectly balanced (by weight not dimension) or else the image won't be level. Otherwise it works like a dream, super steady, great battery life and easy to use. I would highly recommend it.

Got this to record videos for work, some from my bike, some while walking. While the gimbal and tracking work really well, it doesn't take out the smaller bumps. To be clear, this is me picking the wrong tool for the job, not any fault of the device. I had hoped to be able to use my iPhone for site visit photos, rather than remembering to bring my GoPro (who's battery is rubbish and discharges when not in use). But the GoPro is definitely superior for stability (hyper smooth).Other thing to note, I saw people online saying this didn't work with iPhone 12 Pro. It does, it's absolutely fine with the clamp magnet. I do take my phone out of it's case to ensure the clamp is strong, but it fits and works fine.

Pros: Takes a bit of getting used to but has so much potential. Video in particular could become interesting again. It also has a stand which could be useful for social media etc.Cons: Doesn't fit iPhone 12 Pro max! You'd have thought it would work with all iPhones especially the newer ones with the MagSafe cases but it doesn't. I had to buy a connecter from the US but even then it moans about stability telling me to remove the protective case from my phone. No thanks - I'm definitely keeping the protection in case it drops off the magnet!
The ordering and delivery was very good. I had no problems with that. The only thing is the the device is not working properly so I’m struggling to use it because every time I’m using the dji osmo mobile 4 to make videos it just show on screen Low battery and stop working. I leave it charging for the whole night and on the day next after 1min using it just happen again, over and over. What I do to kind of fix is turn it off and connect it to my power bank so I can use for few minutes until it stops again. Very annoying to be honest but that’s the price for a refurbished device. It shouldn’t happen.
The gimbal is a very handy product which provides a variety of selections to enhance video shots with an iPhone that I didn’t know until using it. The only downside it can’t be used just as selfie stick without turning on the app. But the benefits outweigh this problem. I’m
At the end of my tether. I have tried both the Osmo 3 and now the 4. I have a Sony Xperia XZ Premium. MY first outing (see video) showed some extreme juddering. I researcher online, I tried to get some sense out of DJi on several occasions, an utter waste of time.I've worked through trying to get the device to work with other android gimbal apps and it will not pair with the bluetooth. If you power the device up and shoot video guess what, steady as a rock. Use the mimo app and you get the hippy hippy shake. DJi should have addressed this ages ago. I see certain i phones are prone to this judder too. Also, there isn't one Sony handset on their list of approved phones and several other makes are missing too. Now i'm going to have to fight to get this sent back.
I've never purchased a gimbal before but given the new the cameras on the current flagship smartphones and the pro reviews of this model I convinced myself to jump in. Glad I did. The accompanying app menus [iOS]; memorising the single, double, triple, etc. clicks of the trigger or other buttons; and learning how to use the controls to the effect you'll want will take practice and climbing a learning curve — but only a few steps in and you'll be startled at the difference the DJI makes in your efforts to improve your media results from pictures to video. The additional app-based movie/picture modes are excellent and, well, a heck of a lot of fun. It's a game changer.
It is fine for some stagnant video but moving its hard to get the right angles because it moves by itself. Face detector doesn’t work as I expected in moving videos. Getting the center is tricky and you feel the video is not aligned or straight. So many things to adjust. But being stable is fine thats it. For 150$ you pay for stability only.
I been notorious for taking bad pictures and video... they all laught at my pictures... well they are not laughing anymore. Steady video using OM 4 with my iphone 11pro. No shaking videos. Other product is that I'm using is the DJI Mavric flymore combo. Extremely good gimbo... my next purchase is the DJI gimbal for my DSLR
