I like to use it for timelapse because it can move in an angle/pre-programmed path instead of just horizontal movement.But my expectation was too high that it could remove all the jitters. Its not, you still need to bend your knees and walk slowly. Dont run or walk fast

What I will say is that the addition of the telescopic handle is way more than just a selfie stick and opens up way more shooting opportunities. For example, shooting very low down (eg if youre in to rc cars and you want to pan alongside one while its driving) no longer requires you to crawl around or double over to get the shot; you can just extend the stick for a much more comfortable shooting position. Same goes for high-angle shots, its not the longest but it does give you more options. This is the reason for the four-star review, Id rather it was a bit bigger and heavier and retained this important feature. I knew this before buying it of course, and Id still buy it again, its just a big omission of a key gesture and I dont want to encourage that with five-star reviews! Overall great piece of kit, get yourself a decent piece of video editing software to go with it (there are some great free ones out there) and youll be surprised at what you can do.
This device is solid, well built, and an awesome addition to your phone-camera kit... but the supposedly "summer white" is not white, is pink. I was expecting and wanting white for the pseudo hospital grade look-I work with health industries. I will return it and exchange it for the gray model as the pink version looks like I borrowed it from a niece. If you love pink, that's the one to get.
Pros: You can use it with your normal phone camera but don't have as much accesabilty with the product.Cons: An easier way to setup, the tutorial watching on a small screen isn't very accessible and it takes a long time to go through everything
Pros: The size and battery life of the gimbal is really good. Once you get the hang of how it folds you can easily fit it in your pocket and the phone case attachment makes it easy to remove from the gimbal when needed.Cons: I had to calibrate the humble a few times during a week of use in order to get a straight horizon. Also, make sure you need a gimbal otherwise it will become an expensive selfi stick
Pros: My Galaxy A53 5g is listed as not compatible with this gimball. However it works perfectly both with, and without the app. So don't be put off, most if not all features will be available with your smartphone. Very light and portable .Cons: App is difficult to download as not available in an app store. Takes practice, and some research for first time gimbal user. But no real problems.
The only issue with this gimbal was that it is not compatible with some Android phones. It just doesn't want to be discovered by some phones.DJI simply doesn't know how to take care of their applications.In case if yours doesn't work, try the following:- uninstall DJI Mimo app- scan the QR code on the box and download the DJI Mimo APK file directly.- install it and power on the gimbal.- at some point it will request permission to update firmware.- connect to your phone and enjoy.These steps are wierd, but working for most of the so called non compatible models.
I had to film a pub band for some promotional work. It took about 15 minutes to get used to how it all works (youtube is great). Was very impressed. The end video product was so much better than what I could achieve holding my iPhone over my head all night!
