The DMC Coloris Embroidery thread offers vibrant colors that retain their color exceptionally well after being laundered. They are very strong and easy to thread through the eye of the needle. I have being completing hand embroidery projects for more than 10-years and have learned to invest in high-quality thread for my projects, so they will stand the test of time and wear. DMC Coloris thread is my choice for hand embroidery projects.
One of very few places in Memphis that carries a full collection of DMC thread. I appreciate that. This isn't a Michael's "thing"; it's a DMC thing. Having cross-stitched for 30+ years, there has been definite change in the quality of DMC thread, though. It seems to fray and break so easily. It's still my preference, though.
DMC threads are wonderful! I have used them for over 50 years for mainly counted cross stitching but also in embroidery, needlepoint, and whatever other project comes along. I have tried other brands but they do not even come close to DMC.
Great thread for any small design you want to make. Good for making multi colored objects without having to constantly switch colored threads.
love the variety of colors and choices of threaddo quite a bit of embroidery workstarting to combine different threads together to get special effects on pieces
