I have repurchased this over the years out of a general (highly non medical) sense that I have some inflammation in my body, showing up in things like acne and eczema. I like that it has black pepper extract which is supposed to help the curcumin remain in your body for longer and I suppose this is the "high absorption" benefit touted. Recently my personal trainer recommended this as a supplement to go with a new weight lifting exercise routine. It is supposed to help with muscle and joint aches and pain. Honestly it is impossible to tell whether this is all that useful, but it seems that unlike certain vitamins and minerals that can affect how your body absorbs other minerals (e.g. zinc/magnesirum/calcium), there isn't much harm in taking a turmeric extract.

I added this supplement to my diet after having had multiple surgeries and chemo and I'd heard curcumin can be good to reduce inflammation and aid healing. It's a good size package for the price. There's no yucky after taste which is always a bonus. I lost a fair bit of hair from chemo and now I have lots of regrowth which I think is a benefit of taking it, I also think it helped improve my skin and return to normal being a good quality antioxidant ingredient.
