I have received numerous samples with my fragrance orders lately and have noticed a lot of hype over Dolce and Gabbana's Light Blue. The top notes are Sicilian Lemon, Apple, Cedar and Bellflower; middle notes are Bamboo, Jasmine and White Rose; base notes are Cedar, Musk and Amber. Dolce Gabbana Light blue is a casual and breezy, sparkling fruity-floral scent. When I first spray it, I can really smell the citrus. It has notes of Jasmine when it settles along with cedarwood, musk amber. I don't really smell the green apple accord white roses as much, but they do linger in the background. I think this is a light, crisp scent that would be great for Spring or Summer. It lasts for about 2-3 hours on me, so if I want a touch up, I just do one more spritz. Light blue smells exactly as it sounds - an exuberant vision of cloudless skies, crystal clear water, and the ripened smell of fruit on a Mediterranean summer day. This fragrance really is a breath of fresh air, especially since I have been testing so many “musky” fragrances lately. At the base you have steam distilled cedarwood and amber - adding an unexpected warmth to the fragrance that takes a nice supporting role in the background. The bottle it comes in, though I do not have the pleasure of photographing it, looks truly beautiful. I love the blue sky cap, as well as the very light green hue of the solution itself - reminiscent of the peel of a Granny Smith. I sprayed this 3 times on my wrist and absolutely cannot stop pausing to smell it. This is such a delightful olfactory treat that will send your senses on a sugar high craving for wanderlust and fresh adventure. I smell super yummy wearing this, and I’m happy with that!

Far too citrusy, not lasting, can't be returned.

It's an OK fragrance if you like it really citrusy. All I could smell was strong citrus tones. It does smell fresh but you're better off with the CK One as it provides the same kind of freshness, it's cheaper and lasts just as long. Be aware that fragrances cannot be returned, so only buy stuff from here if you already know the stuff and like it. The website isn't clear about not accepting returns on fragrance and it should be. I spent YEARS searching for this

Ever since I was little, I was a perfume girl. Loved all the tiny glass bottles, the colors and feeling "fancy" having them displayed on my bathroom counter. But, eventually I fell out of wearing perfume as I got older. Every smell was either too sweet, too strong, too fruity, too musky, etc. That's until I was in the mall and someone handed me a sample on a piece of paper and OH MY GOD. I found my new signature scent! I get compliments all the time. Normally I am very cautious about wearing perfumes in the office or school because you never know who will be sensitive to it. But I've gotten nothing but compliments and people asking me what I'm wearing nonstop! It's not too strong, has light floral notes, but not too.. girly? It's nice & light

When I first bought this perfume I thought that it has no smell. That's what I wrote in my original review. I've used the whole bottle & started liking it after several weeks & what I noticed was the fragrance on my blouse at the end of the day. People would compliment me on how nice I smelled. I didn't notice it but others did. I was going through some Ulta boxes a cpl of weeks, ( I have alot of stuff from Ulta including samples, travel sizes, regular size products, lots ofvextra makeup bags, I always give away stuff & the regular size products I give as gifts, my grand children love all the little extras & I have a big backpack filled with samples & regular sized perfumes. I feel that the best parfum to wear is oil but also a parfum that goes on light & the only ppl who can smell you are ppl who you are up close with, ppl I work with, friends, family & we get & give lots of hugs. This parfum is personal & that is the difference between a good fragrance & an alcohol based fragrance that you can smell coming down the hall & around the corner. I don't want to smell like the latter! If you think it's not strong enough for you, take your dress off after work & you will smell that light fragrance & now you know that this is what your co workers, friends & family are smelling! That's you & you smell nice!

Not the same scent anymore?

I have worn this Dolce and gabbana light blue for years now and always always my "favorite" scent and always received so many compliments when wearing it however over the last several years I noticed the scent isn't the same anymore smells like its more watered down or something the company may have changed in the scent which isn't as great smelling as it once was? I purchased in department stores Macy's and other big retailers that sell only authentic perfumes and even in those stores Dolce and gabbana light blue for women doesn't smell the same anymore more weaker smelling?
