Bought 3 kilos of Costa hot chocolate, thought it was Ruby Chocolate, turned out it was a nasty red, sugary substance, not Low Prices fault, but read the descriptions - I buy regularly from them and for the most part I'm happy with what I've purchased, but definitely not this time.

Bought this for my daughter who does not like spicy food. It tasted quite spicy even for me, hidden in the ingredients are chillies. Apart from that there was a nasty twang to the flavour. Not cheap either considering the amount of sauce. I'll stick to Lloyd Grossman in future

We really enjoy this sauce but really, if you’re cooking a decent amount of pasta, this only gives it a flavouring and a tiny coating. If you like your pasta to actually have sauce on it then this range isn’t for you. The idea of just stirring it in is good so you don’t need two pans but I’d like to see the tub sizes doubled so you can do a decent family sized amount from it. Defo would sell if Dolmio looked at the idea.
I'm not the biggest fan of the other stir in sauces as they taste too concentrated for me, but this is an exception to the range. A quick, easy and tasty dinner. I always keep some in the cupboard as a stable.
A great way to cheat and add extra vegetables and flavour to things. It is spicy but not too much. Cook some rice or pasta, and lentils in the microwave, and add one of these for a quick and balanced meal.
A tasty and easy to use standby sauce. Nice chunks of soft pepper to give texture. Bought in case my son wanted it on a camping trip but it wasn't taken so we are using it up. I would potentially buy again as it's nice but the ingredients list would benefit from being more natural - however, a good and portable standby.
Nice pepper taste at first but as other people have said, a very hot after taste. Im really not keen on spice and this tasted more like an Arribiata to me.
This used to be perfect. The recipe changed a while ago, and it's now quite spicy. The aftertaste ruins it, and children are no longer keen. Back to making a sweet pepper sauce from scratch, without spice!
this used to be one of our favourite stir in sauces as it was lovely, but the last two times we have bought this we have noticed a change in 'flavour'. It used to taste of tomato and 'sweet' peppers, now it is more like an Arrabbiata i.e. HOT and spicy - and NOT what it says on the tin! - so am not going to be buying this flavour anymore as it is much too hot and spicy for me - shame as the original recipe was SO much nicer.
