After I saw a neighbor easily back her travel trailer in, I mentioned how impressed I was. She and her husband said it’s really easy now with our backup camera. I added the Furrion system to our trailer and love it. We got a 2nd trailer and this camera add-on was the first thing I bought as an upgrade. I was able to sync it to my other system so we have one monitor that will work with both trailers. Installation was simple. Knowing that you can turn on grid lines on the monitor is critical AND that you can tilt the camera up/down to adjust the distance from the back of the trailer to where you want is critical, especially if you use it like I do for determining when it’s safe to pull back into a lane after passing someone.

My travel trailer came prewire for the furrion vision s. I installed the camera in less than 10 minutes and had it working. The picture is clear and the camera has a mic on it! No more yelling back and forth while backing in the camper at the campsite when there is no cell signal. I have not used this camera at night yet. We are going camping this weekend and will be testing the night function.

These cameras are fantastic. Removes the blind spots on both sides of the trailer. Great for highway use when you need to change lanes and when backing trailer into a site. Very good quality with excellent finish. Easy installation, took about 10 minutes each. Highly recommend. When pairing the camera to the monitor, use a pen to press the pairing button on the camera. It will make a click sound when pressed. (Press hard and hold for two seconds.)

This is a great camera and monitor. My camper is pre-wired for Furrion, so it literally took all of 10 minutes to remove the protective cap from the camper, plug the camera in to the waiting harness, and attach the camera using the existing screws from the camper. The picture is plenty clear on the 4.3 monitor, so I didn't feel compelled to spend the extra $$ on the 7-inch monitor. I can see vehicles behind me and at my back corners, so I have complete visibility now when changing lanes. Resolution is very good, and the camera has a built-in microphone, so your parking helper doesn't have to yell! Very helpful when backing in, so I can see exactly what's going on behind me at all times.
My truck doesn't have reverse camera, so I bought this for backup camera for when I hook up my trailer. I wanted a Furrion to go with the one on the back of my camper so I didn't have to have two different displays. Wish they made a smaller one for this purpose as this is a little big for a straight backup camera. Or an option to modify this mount to work better for license plate type of mount.
The Furrion Vision S observation camera is a welcome accessory for our large Sabre 5th wheel camper. The 4.3" screen is large enough to see clearly, but I'm sure the larger screen option would be nicer. The video feed can sometimes become broken, I imagine due the the 50' distance between camera and monitor, but is mostly smooth. It was advertised as llug and play for our pre-wired camper, but that ended up not being the case. Our 2021 Forest River Sabre came with a different mount and wiring. So I was forced to remove the stock sharkfin mount and modify the wiring ends. It was still a pretty quick project but definitely not what I expected. All in all, I'm happy with the outcome.
There’s nothing I dislike about this camera. This is my second one. The first one is on my travel trailer. I bought this one to mount under my rear bumper as a rear view camera because I’m a Texan with a big truck & my truck bed mounted spare tire blocks my view.. so anyway.. this camera is super simple to connect.. red power, black ground.. sync it up to your Furrion screen & you're done.. no idea if this will work with any other screens.. I had to mount mine upside down And the on screen controls made it simple for me to obtain the proper view.
I have purchased three of these cameras. Each one has become unusable in less than 12 months as the lens is plastic and clouds when exposed to sunlight (think clouded plastic headlight). This is a real problem for a camera that is supposed to be used on the exterior of a trailer. DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA IF YOUR RV IS USED OUTDOORS!
I changed my order to the 5" model. Installation was very simple. I used an upper center tail light to get 12V supply. 12V camera wires were Black and Red. Not sure why, since Trailers and RVs ground is white. Tail light wires were green and white. In line voltage, Green is Ground. Not thinking about it cuz friends were about to arrive at my house, so I quickly connected the black ground wire to the Green wire. It didn't work, plus is blew out the Hard-to-Find, Ford 25A MCase Slotted fuse #53. I just think a manufacturer should know to use White wire as ground, based on universal fact that white is ground in Trailers and RVs. Trailers and RVs Ground is WHITE, not Black like low voltage electronics.
Worked great for a few minutes. For the price, I need it to work for more than that. It's a great camera and good view. I don't know why it does not consistently. Says it has a range of over 100 feet, but my 5th wheel trailer is only 40 foot and it does not get signal. Not impressed with the signal range. I will be returning it.
