Although my facial skin isn't sensitive, it's dry reactive. The skin on my body is dry, sensitive, and reactive. My body skin can be extra sensitive on occasion due to shaving so I prefer cleansing bars that are not harsh or irritating on my body (especially legs, underarms, bikini area). This bar of Dove Sensitive Skin cost me $1 at DollarTree in Dec 2021, which is VERY affordable! I'm sure you could get this particular Dove bar in bulk save even more $ fuel/costs of getting 1 bar at a time like I did, but wanted to try it out! I have used this Dove Beauty bar in Sensitive Skin alone and also combined with other soaps (as I'm transitioning to bar soap only), and the formula held up perfectly! I love that this Dove Beauty Bar is perfect for feminine hygiene, gives a nice leather without too much of a soapy lather, and I also adore that Dove is cruelty-free! Many Women can be more prone to Urinary Tract Infections and it's particularly important to find a pH balanced, hypoallergenic, sensitive, fragrance-free cleanser that won't irritate the urethra for safe feminine hygiene. I personally recommend THIS Dove Beauty Bar in Sensitive Skin as a safe, gentle, and approved feminine hygiene cleanser and as a body cleanser! The winter months are drying on the skin and this Dove Beauty Bar cleanses without soap, without dyes, and allows for your skin to shine through with a lather even with 1/4 moisturizing formula in the bar! I've noticed that newer versions of Dove Beauty Formulas are infused with Dove Nutrium, but that may be the packaging since this felt very soothing on the skin with a distinct clean feeling that Dove leaves! I recently tried using Dr Bronner's light blue baby Castile Bar Soap, which is different all together (read my review on that) and am switching back and forth depending on how much exfoliation/cleansing my skin needs. I keep this Dove Beauty Bar and any soap bars I have in a reusable soap bar container. However, it's 100% safe to leave out on the shower counter!!! I just prefer to keep my bar in a container bc I have recently been transitioning from body washes to bar soap and want to be extra hygienic! (or am neurotic?) I do predict we will see a trend of an increase in bar soap products in general for 2022 since the packaging isn't made with a plastic container, it's a condensed version of the same thing, and is more environmentally friendly. (Especially when bought in bulk and if it's a cruelty-free soap that has environmental friendly packaging!) Again, I adore that this Dove Beauty Bar in Sensitive Skin Formula is safe for feminine hygiene, gives the perfect amount of lather, is cruelty-free, doesn't irritate my skin, leaves my dry skin soft without a stripped feeling it doesn't leaves a filmy residue on my skin either! Highly recommend will be looking for deals on bulk bars since it's no longer $1, but so far it's holding up nice, not mushy like some creamy soap bars get, another added bonus! We love the smell of original white Dove soap. It is nice and creamy and lathers up very well. It leaves the skin smelling so clean and fresh. It's 1/4 moisturizing cream so you know your skin will be moisturized and not dried out like with some soaps. I like that it's unisex meaning men or women can use it and it's safe enough for baby's sensitive skin. We always have a box under the cupboard and use Dove soaps regularly. Amazed!

I have spent so much money on cleansers & moisturizer over the years. My husband & have loved Dove body wash for years & I never considered cleaning my rosacea face with a bar of soap, but this one is wonderful. It even removes my Lancôme Teint Idole foundation with ease. I can’t believe something so simple & inexpensive could work so well! And it was my husband who suggested maybe I should try something simple like Dove soap! Before body wash came out, dove bar soap is all he used. I can attest that this sensitive skin bar is definitely ok for super sensitive skin. I’m also prone to dryness & this doesn’t cause any. I’m soooo amazed! Have used over a week now twice a day & my face is much less red. Very pleased!

Overwhelming, pervasive, pungent scent

Have used Dove bar soaps in the past. The Dove bar soap from years back hardly had a fragrance at all. In the intervening years my family used Olay but due to the major wholesale clubs not carrying it anymore, I felt Dove would be a good alternative. I was shocked when I bought a 16pk still sealed in its cellophane wrapping from BJ's. My car reeks from the scent of the soap hours after removing this item. I put an unopened box in the bathroom and the whole house is filled with the repulsive pungentodor. This definitely is not the "ORIGINAL" Dove soap nor the original fragrance.

Sensitive fragrance free bar is NOW FRAGRANCED

I have used this sensitive bar for over 15 years due to allergies to fragrance- this week I purchased a 4 pack only to find that Dove is still promoting this as a fragrance free product when in fact the smell is so strong, the entire cabinet under my vanity smells like this soap. That my friends is NOT fragrance free. I cant imaging what genious thought that it would be wonderful to scent the fragrance free bar and still advertise is as fragrance free. Dove has lost a long time customer which also probably means nothing to a companhy that would make a switch like that and not change the packaging. I had to throw the soap out . That is what Unilever thinks of its long time consumers. They dont.
