I used then years ago back when I was into coloring my hair, but I stopped coloring my hair so I don't use this one anyone. When I did use it I really liked it. My hair always felt and looked soft. This shampoo is made to work with colored hair for your best, long lasting results. Smells amazing. And it's so affordable, you can probably find this at about any store.

This Shampoo is the best for color-treated hair. Not only does it help maintain the brightness for color-treated hair, but it also makes your hair so soft and shiny. I use this shampoo alot and I love it. The smell is amazing. My hair fells and looks more healthier and stronger. It also makes my hair feel cleaner. I love the fact that its formulated with Moroccan oil. Also, the price is very affordable. I would recommend this shampoo to all my family and friends. If you have color-treated hair, buy this shampoo, you'll be happy you did.

I have been using this product for a few months and I really like the results. For a while I thought they discontinued it because i couldn't find it at stores, but then i realized that they just changed the appearance of it but ingredients are the same. I have done the brazilian straightening on my hair and when you do that, you are supposed to use shampoos with no sulfates. Unfortunately, shampoos with no sulfates don't really clean your hair, especially if you have oily hair or work out, so this was just perfect. It has less sulfates and leaves my hair so shiny without being too harsh. And not to mention that my hair smells so good after a wash with this shampoo. Can't live without it now!

I don’t like Dove shampoos and conditioners. I do like that it is gentle on hair and pretty natural, but it makes my scalp itchy (I’m probably just allergic to an ingredient in it). Took me a long time to figure out why I kept having to scratch my head. I finally related this to my shampoo. My hair also ends up feeling not so clean afterward. It makes my hair feel somewhat fake. It smells good though and I gave it 3 stars because I’m sure others are not allergic to it.

I have used Dove Color Repair Shampoo for many years, and had a large stash of it when they added the color preserver to it. This ingredient is very damaging to colored hair. I used it twice and it completely stripped my thick colored hair to lightweight straw. I am currently using the Intensive Repair Shampoo with Fiber Actives which is similar to what the Color Repair used to be, but not as voluminous, and keep checking the stores to see if the Color Care has been changed back to the amazing Color Repair Shampoo ingredients. Because the Color Care is not selling. Why get rid of a product so many loved that was a top seller, only to lose huge market share? Great, but bad for skin issues

This shampoo is really good. Leaves my hair feeling great and color last. (I use restoring dove conditioner instead of color safe). But the shampoo it's really bad on my scalp. It's already hard to have colored hair with eczema, dry scalp, and build up issues but the dove color safe is especially not good for my scalp. Great on my hair though. I'm only leaving this review to help others with my issue who are looking for color safe shampoo.The conditioner works great though! I recommend the intensive repair conditioner (I have normal/straight hair type)

No longer my go-to

I had used this shampoo/conditioner for years and loved it. It kept my ends moisturized without making my roots oily, and preserved color nicely. That is, until, the recent change in formula. It's now "sulfate-free," which I'm usually a fan of, but this is absolutely terrible. There wasn't much lather which is expected, but trying to rinse was next to impossible. My hair felt like straw and the scent is unbearable (very heavy fake floral). I immediately re-washed my hair with another brand. My newly purchased bottles are now in the trash. What a disappointment. Please, PLEASE consider going back to the product we all loved!
