There is a growing group of small manufacturers and retailers doing at exceptional job at both making a great product with real value for money, and looking after the customer. Bonny duvets does all this! They even sent me a little handwritten texta note starting with Hey David......This growing group of small industrialists like we saw in 1940's movies is the savvy way to buy. I love my doona, its light and fluffy and in the middle of our winter here its as warm as toast. The price was about half what the big stores like Myer and David Jones wanted for similar quality.

Looked like a quality product the moment we took it out of the bag. The outer fabric was soft and of a high quality. The down lofted up quickly to create a very warm yet light weight cover to sleep under. On the coldest night it was great and when the night was slightly warmer it still felt extremely comfortable due to how well it breathed and the lack of heavy weight. Highly recommended.

After a lot of research (because that's what I like to do before buying) I came across an Australian brand, with proven responsibly sourced duck down - a small start up company so I purchased a king winter doona. The bonny doona is incredibly light & fluffy yet perfect temperature in both cold & mild nights. I look forward to many years of snuggling under this door.

I bought the winter blanket in king size for a queen mattress (highly recommend sizing up). It arrived to my front door in 48 hours (first thing that impressed me). I cannot rave enough about how warm it is whilst still being breathable to not sweat. It's super comfortable and warm and just have a light sheet underneath (previous quilt we had to use a fleece blanket under to stay warm). I have a more expensive single size quilt on my kids bed with certified Hungarian goose down and the Bony is much better. The Hungarian is super warm but does not breath well and gets sweaty. The bony breathes way better and warmth is perfect. This doona is absolute heaven. Light and fluffy as a cloud and so so warm. It makes getting out of bed more difficult in the morning though! When I was walking home with the box from the post office a total stranger came up to me to say she just got hers the week before and she was so happy for me having made the best decision to get one too, and now I totally understand why she did that
We simply love the bonny winter doona! It is light in weight, but it is warm enough to withstand the Canberra cold winter nights. We have just experience minus 7 degrees Celsius over night and yet we were nice and toasty under our bonny doona—no extra blankets required. In my experience, the doona puffed out fully within a couple of days. It is also high quality and well worth the investment. I highly recommend this product!
We love our winter Bonny doonas! So fluffy & warm. It's very cold where we love in the country so these doonas are perfect to keep my kids warm all night! Light, fluffy and very warm. I do add a thin blanket on the coldest nights, but I live in a not well insulated home in western Vic where temperatures can drop to the negatives at night in winter. Overall, I definitely recommend this doona and love that the feathers are ethically sourced, which is why I purchased. Thank you.
