I like a flatter pillow so took a gamble even after reading the other reviews. Sadly this pillow goes flat and hard overnight and I ended up waking with a sore ear from the pressure. My husband also sneezes violently if we have it on our bed as it sets off his hay fever like nothing else!

Best all round pillow. I have used these type for well over a decade now. My whole family uses this pillow to sleep on, right down to my 9 year old. Contours to the neck and head, providing support and cushioning. I have tried others over the years and end up tossing and return to this great all rounder.This time I bought for my 9 year old. He had a ‘child size’ pillow that he had obviously outgrown. He was waking up during the night constantly. I converted to this one one he is back to sleeping through the night.

I bought the medium and although it feels comfortable to sleep on at times, I wouldn’t say it’s one of my best pillows. It tends to sink too low throughout the night & I have woken up with sore ears as it seems to harden so I find myself having to reposition myself to avoid this from happening. Overall, it’s not too bad.

These pillows were supposed to be filled with 100% down, which is very, very soft, but this doesn't seem to be the case when one lies on them. I have the impression there are duck feathers in there as well. The pillows, although a medium weight, are just as firm as a synthetic pillow, and do not flatten down enough when you put your head on them - I was hoping for something resembling a soft, down-filled pillow that accommodates the head without creating tension to the next, but am faced with sore necks when I wake in the morning. I am very, very disappointed and feel I have wasted l my money.
We've just bought these pillows after considering changing our pillows for quality alternatives, and having then been undecided because the mass of information, about which material is best for what type of sleeper, etc. Forget it! Just opt for the good old down pillows! Best pillows we've had! Very comfortable to sleep on, whether on side or back and plump back up beautifully and easily in the morning!
I bought one medium and one firm as I wasn’t sure which to buy. I really like them both, I’m a side sleeper and the firm is great when on side and the medium great if laying on your back. I think I am going to buy some more of the medium to stack two as I think this will be perfect for me. And at this price, why not. Such a great deal!
It's comfortable and adaptable to head & neck shape, however, it needs a bit of adjusting through the night as it flattens out with the weight of the head. I have used it through mild summer nights so far this year (Dec 2022, Australian summer) and I haven't overly heated. It's great that neither my partner nor I can perceive any smell from it, as I have read reviews for other down pillows with observations about perceivable smell.
Hi I am a 65 or Over man apparently.Look, pillows are obviously hard to review and being half encourages one to write a review when you wouldnt otherwise. I rate the pillows highly, I am glad I spent the money on them (most expenny I've bought so far) but I have thrown my other pillows out as I keep realising quality > quantity.However, these things ARE SUBJECTIVE. Just buy one on special and try it, if it doesnt go well, i guarantee youll have a mate that will try it and buy it off you for the same price you purchased anyway. Different folks etc.
Some years ago I asked a Myer assistant what they thought was the best pillow in the whole range. They recommended the Downia Double Down Surround. I am so glad they did as I have never used any other since. These pillows shape to your head and surround you in luxurious comfort. I'll even travel with them as nothing else is as comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep.
I bought both a Firm and a Medium pillow. I use Firm for reading painfree in bed and Medium for Pain free sleeping. For years I was hesitant to go to Down because of my allergy sensitivities but I found with the use of a securely zippered Pillow Protector I have no issue with allergies. Love this product and my Physiotherapist is impressed!
