I bought this as I love the idea of having one quilt that I can use all year by being able to seperate them for the different seasons. Right now the two are clicked together for winter and it is super warm. I have not tried separating them yet for spring and summer but I have no doubts that the quality and temperature will be perfect. Investing in quality bedding is a must for for me and Downia is a quality brand.

Why buy 2 quilts when 1 will do! Light weight super warm when combined. Perfect in summer when you just seperate the quilts and use the lightest of the two. Have never noticed the press stud’s which hold the quilts together and haven’t had any issues with them separating. I now own 2 of these and have gifted another two to adult children. Everyone loves them. Great quality too.

I bought this from myer reading all the wonderful reviews. Unfortunately when I did buy it I noticed after removing it from the packaging and putting it into a queen size duvet cover from linen house1. Its not a true queen size so it will not fit the cover2. Slides a lot3. Makes a lot of noiseThe product itself is warm and yes the design is great on paperWhen I advised myer of the problem they said tough luck I couldn't return the cover or the duvet. Avoid this buy another brand.I also tried the duvet with a target queen size duvet cover and it doesn't fit that either

Love my new Four Season Quilt. It is feels so light as you sleep and get the right warmth from the 2 doonas during winter months. Looking forward to using the medium doona during spring and autumn months and the light doona during the summer months. It’s a perfect solution having the Four Season Doona.
I like that it’s 2 in 1 and that it clips together. Makes it a great option for multiple seasons. For me in the really cold winter it isn’t warm enough and the two together are quite heavy with all the cotton so I prefer not to use both at the same time. That’s a personal preference though, the quality is good and I got it in a sale so I’m happy with it and will keep it for years
Was looking for a quality “all season” feather quilt which I could split in summer and double up in winter. I like warm, my partner likes cooler and we both like lightweight. It’s a tall order. What do you do?After a fair bit of research and reading reviews I settled on this product. 10:10 on every level. I am absolutely delighted and we both have a fabulous sleep every night. It doesn’t “rustle” like some feather quilts, it’s not heavy and it doesn’t smell either. I am delighted with this purchase.
This is a high quality duvet. The 2 separate duvets together are lovely and warm in winter without being too heavy. Then when the weather changes, you can separate the 2 and choose the appropriate layer of warmth. Even good through warmer months. Although let's face it... in summer we only need a sheet here in Sydney.
The feel and weight of this doona is excellent. However I would not purchase again. It is far too noisy/crunchy sounding every time one of us move. We wake each other up with the noise. It doesn’t get much better over time as hoped. Also another major problem is that the clips to hold it together only lasted about 6 months, now they come apart every day and I have to dig around inside the cover and clip it back together. If I don’t, the doona ends up all over the place and bunched up. My daughter has the same doona and has exactly the same problems with it.
The Downia Four Seasons is an excellent quit. It comes in two parts so you can stay warm what ever the season. Use mine in Autumn, winter and spring and just use one of both layers. There is a ligter layer duvet and a thicker one. It has feather and duck so keeps you warm whilst being not too heavy. Our household now has three of these, I woouldn't but anything else.
Got help from one of the professionals in the Melbourne CBD location (mike) Had no idea what i wanted or what would be best. He pointed me in the correct area and to this particular doona! boy oh boy am i pleased ive spent the money! FANTASTIC DOONA! soo comfy! im a huge advocate for the brand now! if you get one, you wont be disappointed!
