I thought Dr. Bronner's 18-in-1 Hemp Baby Unscented Pure-Castile Soap would be gentle on my skin, but it wasn't. It really dried out my skin, so I had to stop using it as a body wash. I tried to figure out what else I could do with it. I've been using it in my soap foamer bottles and it works well. You only need to use about 1/2 inch of the product and then fill the rest up with water. With that small amount, I don't notice it drying out my hands. One other comment... I don't care for all the writing on the bottle. It implies that the product can heal the soul - which it can't. BEST SOAP I EVER USED FOR ECZEMA!

I have been using this soap for a few months now for my eczema. Every time I have an eczema flare, I use this soap and it instantly stops the pain, itching, and irritation. It is a very great exfoliate. Ever since I have been using this soap, I don’t have flaky skin, significantly less irritated. It effectively cleans your skin while not drying it out. Its loosens up dead skin cells. It also evened out my hyperpigmentation from my eczema rashes. I LOVE THIS SOAP. BTW, I used the unscented baby soap. 10/10 !!!!

This is my first time using castile soap and my skin is super sensitive so to avoid any bad reactions I chose unscented but I am happy with this soap and it will definitely be a staple product for me; I look forward to trying others as they comes in a variety of scents. Even with it's richness in natural oils it lathers pretty good. The consistency is watery not thick and the smell is none at all. It is expensive compared to regular soap but its worth every dollar; comes in both soap and liquid form. I highly recommend this product.

Love Dr. Bronner's

Great product. Love the scent, it just can get a little strong in a steamy shower if you're sensitive to scents. The peppermint scent doesn't bother me at all though! The only thing that could make all these Dr. Bronner's 18-in-1 soaps better is if they had a pump instead of just a cap. It's a concentrated soap so you only need a small amount to mix with water to get the job done, but it is so easy to run through these big bottles quickly by just pouring from the bottle cap. I might just pour some in my Grove travel bottle with a pump to make it last longer. Great product & company though and I highly recommend!!

Many uses!

This brand is a go-to for my family. There are so many uses with this product, including using it to make homemade hand soap, dish soap & gentle on baby's skin (a lot of popular, well in known baby products are NOT safe for baby). You do need to be careful, as it can sting baby's eyes when using it as shampoo. It can just be used to clean baby in the tub.So many uses! I also like the bar soap. Anything in this line! Love!I also own lavender body wash & have used rose scented bar soap- LOVE!

Multi-purpose cleanser

This product has really a lot of uses: I have used it as a face and body cleanser, as a shampoo (it doesn‘t rinse very easily and leaves my hair messy and entangled), as a dish cleaner (it removes well the grease and oil), as a wash detergent when washing delicates by hand. And there are many more purposes I haven‘t tried. So I highly recommend it ! It is particularly useful when traveling when you don‘t want to bring a lot of products.

Old fashioned; effective.

The smell is similar to the scent of the presence of a baby. It isn’t terrible but not everyone’s favorite either. I suppose the smell isn’t so potent after drying.Last words: safe. clean. homeopathic.eco-friendly. sensitivity-friendly. wide range variety of usage as listed on bottle.

Super ethical and cleans well

Super ethical product -- vegan, organic, non-toxic, biodegradable, and even fair trade I think! It works really well to clean things, and it's gentle enough to use with pets. Your one soap for everything, from handwashing to showering to laundry to pet care and more! Fantastic product, other than I wish they left religious stuff off the product. My parents won't let me buy more because they don't believe in sharing what they consider false beliefs. I think companies should try to be neutral about that stuff to allow more people to feel comfortable using this product. Other than that, it's awesome!

Terrible Experience

I wanted to use something natural for my hair,so I decided to buy Dr. Bronner’s Castile soap. I followed the instructions and did dilute this in water and applied as a shampoo but this soap made my hair very dry, brittle instantly it felt as if there is some weird coating /residue left on my hair after rinsing out my hair couple of times. And I also did ACV rinse after shampoo. In short it was a terrible experience for me. Highly disappointed. Please be careful.

Unscented, suspects scamming of water dilution

I have a query with Unscented Bronner soap, it's now diluted, the seal shows it gets tampered with, as a result, the efficacy and strength is not the same as beforeYou can actually see nail or finger prints on the seal, Unscented or sandalwood, the other variations don't get tampered with.I first saw this Jackson's and stopped buying Unscented thereThe last one I bought from Roots and Fruits guys was also tampered with. I went to Wellness warehouse, it was the same. I also called staff to see the difference, they looked at different scents and confirmed that yes, all Unscented bottles the seal clearly shows some tampering with, it and sandalwood, the other scents, the seals were smooth and tight, with no form of fiddling with
