There are other reviewers who complain it’s too strong and the fragrance is prominent but you would not believe how many compliments I have received because of it. If you know, it is a very similar patchouli base as in Eau Sauvage by Christian Dior. It is delicious.

I want to have this work, but it doesnt. It is a thin lotion like lubriderm. It doesnt seem to last very long, and it seems to dry my skin after a few hours. I have two assumptions that it doesnt last more than a few hours. Or requires rigorous application.The smell isnt the best either as the lime is overpowered by a smell of 70s perfume.

I like Dr Bronners products. Great product with no harmful chemicals. I was so glad to find this on your site. It is a perfect size to put in bathroom to use after washing hands or st kitchen sink after doing dishes. It is light and smells nice but not overpowering! I bought two more in different scents.

If you enjoy premium skin care and you haven’t treated yourself to Dr. Bronner’s lotion yet then you are not being nice to yourself. Order some and treat yourself! Or someone you really really love! Or someone who needs some something good to happen to them! This is an all around guilt free good for the planet kind of experience that you can have every day. 2000 out of 10 recommend.
I have been using Dr. Bronner products since the 1970's. I started with the Peppermint Soap - so soothing, mild, effective, clean, bright. Awesome product. Then Peppermint Lotion. Light and bright. I've tried all the lotions, they're all excellent. Lip Balm is wonderful all day and night. Hair care products are new to me - love the Hair Cream, makes my hair soft, cuts frizz, use in place of hairspray. Just trying the new Citrus Hair Rinse. Great job leaving my hair so very clean. Every single product I've tried has become a regular, a big hit. Appreciate all the new products over the years. Good job! Overall, I highly recommend any product Dr. Bronner's makes.
I am not necessarily fond of “Patchouli” but I wanted to try something new, and this one was interesting! I personally think it smells more like one of those herbal health stores, if you know what I mean. Very earthy, but the consistency and coverage of the lotion itself is like butter—a little goes a long way. It’s thin but it covers well, and it makes my hands feel soft. I mostly keep it in the guest bathroom because it pairs well with my Dr. Bronner’s soap, which can be a bit drying on the hand. It’s nice having something to balance out the soap. May try a different scent next time, though!
I love the simplicity of ingredients. The lotion is thin, so it's better for warmer, humid weather. I wouldn't recommend it in winter. I love the smell of patchouli but the ethyl alcohol is a bit overpowering. I don't remember it smelling like this years ago. If there's a way the ethyl alcohol can be omitted or reduced, that would be great.
Years ago I was a big fan of Kiss My Face patchoili lotion. Then they reformulated and removed all that I loved about it. Then I found Dr. Bronner's patchouli-lime and it sure feels like my holy grail lotion! The lime is cool a d fresh, and the patchouli is comforting and adds a little edge that I adore, and it even layers well with a few perfumes. Glad to have found this!
Long time user. Scent is always great, not too strong. Always feel refreshed after applying. A little thin for a lotion but I would prefer this than thick lotions. This is one of the lotions I can use for my sensitive skin type without itching or breaking out. Trust Dr. Bronner’s brand.
I'm a 50+ year Dr Bronners soaps fan... This was my first purchase of your lotions. I am also a long time patchouli fan... have used many versions of the scent over the years. I'll be straightforward ... the patchouli scent of this lotion is totally overwhelming, extremely strong and woody, and I had to thoroughly wash it off with several scrubbings. I had bought 2x to give one as a gift, and I honestly wouldn't give it to anyone. The other 2 scents I bought (Orange lavender and Lavender Coconut) were fine, if a little thin texture-wise. But P-U on the scent, sorry to rate it down, but it's pretty awful!
