Dr, Bronner's is not only an ethical and trustworthy company that I feel great about using but there products just fantastic! This soap is amazing. It is a Really strong tea tree scent, but it is definitely refreshing If you like tea tree. Good antibacterial soap and nice clean ingredients compared to store brand soaps with toxic chemicals that irritate the skin. Great lather and I feel so fresh and clean. Love Dr. Bronner’s. my only negative is the price. However, like anything, you get what you pay for.

Excellent!

I have used every type of Dr Bronner's product for decades but lately the hemp has become my favorite. I use the liquid in the shower but decided to start using the bar soap around the sink and bathroom and I'm very pleased. the soap keeps its shape, is moisturizing but doesn't melt, and has a refreshing neutral scent that dissipates fairly quickly. very pleased and I will continue to try the bar soaps but currently this is a favorite.

Great for body, not for hair

I bought this to use as shampoo as I read several reviews saying that people use it for this purpose. I’ve used it twice in my hair (followed by conditioner) and it leaves my hair feeling stiff and straw-like, and like there’s some residue left in there. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work well as a shampoo for me.On the plus side, it smells really good and lathers up very quickly. I’ll for sure buy more to use on my body.

Great for sensitive skin!

The scent is what made me want to try this soap, and now that I have been using it for months I do not think I will ever buy another brand! I'm allergic to several ingredients in most beauty products, but this soap calms my skin. It lathers well, rinses clean, and smells amazing. One bar lasts a little over a month, so the size is perfect for the price. Excellent value.

Meh. Zero Scent.

First of all, I love this brand's liquid soaps as they're great for basically everything you can imagine. This bar soap, however, left me a little cold. I got the almond variety. The first thing I noticed opening it up was the very subtle almond scent. It lathers up really well, but the scent is nonexistent after the first use. You'll have to go over your various cracks and pits more than once with this stuff. On the plus side, it doesn't dry your skin out.The price isn't bad, but the bar isn't very big. I don't think I'll buy it again.

Perfect swap for me!

I recently switched out my beloved olay bars for this, because it’s got better ingredients. I was worried I’d hate it because I especially hate the way deodorant soaps feel on my skin. This one is nothing like that and I LOVE the almond smell when you lather it up. The smell does not stay on your skin, but that prob just proves it’s not full of synthetic fragrances! LOVE!

Tried other castile soap brands and always go back to Dr. Bronners!

I absolutely love this Dr. Bronner's lavender bar soap and often switch between this scent and rose for my dry and sensitive skin. The formula is gentle and the lavender is so calming and soothing that I use this bar soap year round. Other scented soaps gave me eczema flare ups, but I have not had any flare ups after switching to using exclusively Dr. Bronner’s bar soaps. I love that it comes packaged completely in recyclable paper and we even use the unscented bar soap on our dogs.

You shipped me the wrong item.

I ordered a 3 pack of Dr. Bonner's soap for $26.96 ($9 A BAR!!). It was supposed to be tea tree, citrus %26 eucalyptus. I received tea tree, citrus %26 lavender. Now it's incumbent on me to repackage it %26 return it. Or settle for what you sent. Neither seems appealing.

camping and home favorite

I love everything that Dr. Bronner's makes! Usually I buy the liquid in large bottles but for camping I buy the bars, alternating between peppermint and citrus. I've found that both seem to keep the bugs away. i even shampoo my hair in them.
