Dr Bronner’s pure Castile tea tree soap has a woodsy scent and a medicinal effect against acne and dandruff. It lathers up smooth and soft to gently cleanse your body, face, and even your hair without drying them out. Aside from their unique and well-loved labels, Dr Bronner’s soaps are known for being natural, even a bit old-fashioned. And it’s true that they contain no detergents or synthetic chemicals - but that’s not to say there’s no chemistry involved. Saponification, the process by which natural oils combine with an alkali to form water, glycerine and soap, is one of the first chemical reactions ever discovered. Simple enough, but the soapmaking secret’s in knowing which oils to use, in which proportions, and Dr Bronner’s have this ancient art down to a science. They blend coconut oil for lather, olive oil for softness, and hemp and jojoba oils for the way they mimic the natural oils of the skin and leave it smooth and supple. Unlike most manufacturers, they also keep the highly moisturising glycerine in the finished bar. It’s friendly to your skin and friendly to the planet - the only preservatives are sunflower seed vitamin E and tapioca-derived citric acid, so the soap is 100% biodegradable, and it’s sold in 100% post-consumer recycled packaging. I ordered this product to try it out before I buy more to roll out to my family members. While it is pricier per bar than what I pay for a commercial brand (like Ivory), this soap has been wonderful to use, and I think it's worth the cost. It seems to last longer than a bar of regular soap, and it lathers-up great. Plus, it has ingredients that I can feel good about using myself and giving to my family.

Have been using this soap for over a year now and dont plan to switch. I have very sensitive skin so finding a soap that did not irritate my skin was very hard to do. Even other clean options did not work for me as I have issues with essentials. I was so happy to have found this soap. If you have sensitive skin you must give it a try. The scent is very light.

This is definitely a feel-good favorite for me- this was the first type of Dr. Bronner's I ever used, and the smell always brings back great memories. The soaps ALL rinse off nice and clean, and leave your skin fresh and nice, but this scent is particularly nice when you need a little mood-booster. Definitely recommend!

I cracked open the bottle o' liquid Dr. Br'n'r's that had been in my camping gear since the mid 90's. The scent told me that Doc B's that is old enough to take you drinking should be replaced so we made a big order and Tea Tree soap is the first of the many things we bought that I tried. Absolutely love this stuff. It's a bit overwhelming on the nostrils when you wash your face but nothing worse than a bit of vape-o-rub and that just lets ya know it's working, like when you brush your teeth with scouring powder and it turns from blue to green. Do not do this - I tried that so you don't have to.
I've been using the tea tree bar soap for two weeks now and will never go back. Since I'm home 24/7, figured it was the perfect time to switch up my hair routine. Only needing one product from head to toe in the shower is fantastic (esp when it costs $5)! My body liked the change instantly, and after two weeks, my hair has happily transitioned as well (love the rinse too!). I prefer the bar soap over the liquid soap to my surprise - it lathers soooo well, holds up to shower conditions and I feel so clean and moisturized after. I haven't had any chest or back sweat breakouts since using this despite it being summer - that's a huge win for me. Sports bras use to wreak havoc on my skin. It really does work in both hard and soft water conditions too. Water hardness ... MoreI've been using the tea tree bar soap for two weeks now and will never go back. I wanted to try this scent for some time. I only use Dr. Bronner's Rose scented products. So, I finally bought this and Wow, I was so impressed with it's lovey sweet, but mild orange scent. Lathers great and leaves skin feeling clean and fresh. Great soap!
Wow! Love this stuff! I have been using this as a daily facial cleanser for about a month now. The results have been amazing! I feel as though my face is so much clearer, softer, and brighter. It has done a better job than many high priced soaps and scrubs that are specifically marketed for facial cleansing. I’m not sure about everybody else’s skin type, but for my skin, this works wonders on my face. Definitely give it a try!
I have used Bronner's soaps for years and will continue to. They work very well and have simple ingredient lists. I always look for ways to minimize my exposure to chemicals and these have greatly helped with that. My sensitive skin appreciates these uncomplicated soaps.
The tea tree is mild, does not sting/burn/tingle- it’s not too overpowering and is complimented by the other essential oils in the bar. Great nourishing and clarifying formula. I’ve only used this bar as a face wash yet, about 4-5 times so far, & it has visibly cleared out my pores since the first use which I wasn’t expecting. Also tea tree has major anti fungal properties so this could help for someone who experiences athletes foot or similar issues!! Great little bar, seems like it will not wilt down too quick with use
Clean clean and clean! I like that squeaky clean feel to ensure I get all the dirt and grime off of me after a long day out and about. Then I follow up with a hydrating shower gel and body cream. This combination keeps my skin feeling clean and hydrated. This scent is quite potent and I simply use this to prevent and body acne and it doesn’t the job
