The bottle warmer is a great, compact size for my kitchen county already cluttered with baby feeding supplies. That's the only pro. It has a very small water tank that needs to be refilled at least once a day, giving parents another task to worry about. The tank has a small opening that is difficult to refill and even more difficult to reattach to the warmer. Each refill causes a giant puddle of water on my counter. This also leads to a very angry baby waiting for her bottle while I have to deal with this mess.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BOTTLE WARMER. IT SUCKS.I purchased this bottle warmer at target after my old one by a different brand stopped working. Once I got it home I immediately opened it and tried to fill the reservoir with water. The opening is so small, and trying to put the reservoir back in the machine is such a pain. Water spills out of it EVERYWHERE EVERY TIME I try to use or fill this dumb thing up. Half the time the machine will randomly cut off, and when it does decide to work it will heat the outside of the bottle up to crazy high Temps and yet somehow the milk in the bottle will still be cold. If I could I would return this piece of junk back to target but since I had so much faith in the Dr Brown brand I had thrown away the box and ... MoreSAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BOTTLE WARMER. I had to buy a different brand warmer entirely and now I'm stuck with this useless one because I refuse to give it away to someone else because it is so poorly made and inefficient. Extremely disappointed in my purchase and the product.

This bottle warmer does the job, but has some drawbacks that make it very annoying to use sometimes. First, it has preset volumes that you can choose to reheat, but they seem random. They presets are 2, 4, 5, and 8 ounces. Sort of strange. Also, the design of the reservoir is outrageously stupid. The opening on the refillable reservoir is tiny. It’s the width of a dropper tube, yet you’re supposed to fill it from a container of distilled water. Given the shape of the opening, it should come with a funnel for filling, but it doesn’t. Also, the exposed basin area that you have to quickly tip and click the reservoir into is small, so you have to move fast to avoid spilling. If there’s water in the reservoir and you move the unit on your counter while not keeping it ... MoreThis bottle warmer does the job, but has some drawbacks that make it very annoying to use sometimes. If there’s water in the reservoir and you move the unit on your counter while not keeping it exactly even, it will spill every time. The warming functionality in my experience works fine. It gets very hot so you can’t warm a breast milk storage bag or it will melt, but it warms a bottle nicely. You just have to wait a few minutes before taking it out because the steam will still be too hot right when the cycle finishes.

Leaks everytime I have to change the water or if it is moved at all. When adding more water you have to remove the back compartment and place it back with the opening facing down. You have to move the warmer in a way to prevent the water from falling everywhere but sometimes there is still water left in the warmer and that will spill as well. I haven't figured out to do this without spilling yet When heating the bottles they come out wet and the temperature varies even if the setting is the same from one bottle to another. When using it I have to be careful that the bottle is not too hot and that the water leaking will not cause an accident. I tried another warmer and that one has been much easier to use, I do not recommend this product.
My husband and I finally decided to toss it today- after about 7.5 months of use. The machine has more cons than pros unfortunately. Let’s start with the reservoir for the distilled water, it has an opening that’s about the size of a large pill, which makes it challenging to fill. Then comes attaching it to the actual machine, the way that worked for us was to quickly aim the opening to the bottom and click it in before it leaks all over the counter. The first few times our counter was soaked. Now when you want to sterilize or warm up a bottle there’s a couple of basket like part’s inside that are questionable for their use. The actual basket that supposed whole the bottle and what you’re apparently supposed use to lift the bottle out once the cycle is done is also not convenient once the cycle ends- you’re really more likely get a steam burn on your fingers and possibly spill the liquid if you really can’t wait to let the bottle cool off another minute. In the instructions it does say the last minute is for letting the contents cool off- unless you’re out of water, it’s not cooled off. Oh, and don’t forget to put the steam lid on the bottle, otherwise distilled steamed water will drip into the bottle- not the end of the world, but no one really wants that. Onto the functions, which is probably the best part of the machine! It has icons for sterilization, and the different temperatures of the liquid (frozen, fridge, room temp) there’s also settings for the type of bottle (glass or plastic) and the amount of liquid in said bottle (2-8 Oz). Literally the easiest part, press a couple buttons a few times, find your setting, press start, it shows you the timer and beeps 4 times when it’s finished. Now onto the WORST part of the machine, the cleaning! In the instructions it gives you 3 options, daily clean, deep clean, and fast deep clean. Both of the deep cleans use vinegar, and when the instructions say “clean in a well ventilated area” they mean it! We deep cleaned it once with vinegar and put it in a fairly outside room- the machine and the room smelled like vinegar for about a week. Wiping down the parts isn’t too bad, just a solid hand scrub does the trick, but then when you try to clean the bottom of the machine, good luck! There’s a metal (I think?) heater covered by a vent looking thing- that is close to impossible to hand clean- the vinegar didn’t do much to help either. All this being said, it worked for us for a while, but I’m happy to be rid of it.
So, we picked up this warmer literally after leaving the hospital with our newborn. It seemed like a great buy! However, the design for the water reservoir is silly. You have to insert it into the machine upside down, which causes a large water mess if you aren’t quick enough. Add in a screaming baby to the mix after you’ve been using the machine to sterilize, and then you burn yourself like I did! I will be returning, hopefully. The sterilizer was very nice, but refilling the water reservoir ruins the whole Warmer… There was often a large puddle of water underneath the machine after use! Dangerous!!!
I don’t often write reviews but I wish I had known more about this bottle warmer.Let’s start with the good things- it does it’s job, has lots of settings and a big compartment which makes it easy to sterilize bottles and other stuff quickly. But (and this is a huge one) it requires distilled water. I don’t know about you but after just getting home from the hospital with a newborn, getting special water was not on my list of things I wanted to do. So I decided to use fridge water instead and see if it really makes a difference- it does. The bottle warmer now (8 month later) is very inefficient. But from the beginning the preset settings never worked for us. First it was too hot and now it’s not warm enough even after 5 minutes. We have a 2 story house so bought ... MoreI don’t often write reviews but I wish I had known more about this bottle warmer.Let’s start with the good things- it does it’s job, has lots of settings and a big compartment which makes it easy to sterilize bottles and other stuff quickly. But (and this is a huge one) it requires distilled water. Terrible. This is never ever consistent. You’ll run it and it’s still way too cold. The next bottle you run it for the SAME time and it is too hot. This is refrigerated breastmilk and it never gets it right, we are still constantly relying on warm water because it takes about the same amount of time. I really thought this would speed up the bottle warming process but it doesn’t, you’re still spending 5 min standing in the kitchen staring at it in the middle of the night. Save your money and go with a different brand.
We got this bottle warmer as our baby did best with the Dr. Brown bottles. At first the warmer did fairly well, it was easy enough to use the preprogrammed times to warm the bottles. The downsides, however are the mechanics of filling it. You're supposed to fill a small reservoir with an open top, then invert it into the slot. It often spills if you're not fast enough, and will spill everywhere if there is any water in the machine when it is moved slightly. After using it for about 3 weeks, however, with plenty of water and the appropriate preprogrammed times it tends to not warm up the bottles as much any more, requiring 2 warming cycles to warm up the bottle. We've gone to using a tea kettle and warming the bottle that way, which while it isn't a set and walk away, definitely gets the job done faster and more consistently. We got ours from target so unfortunately can't return it after it's been used. But even if you buy from Dr. Brown directly, be warned, their 100% satisfaction requires the unit still be new and unopened for a return.
I never thought I would hate a bottle warmer but this one just makes life unnecessarily difficult. First it’s the water reservoir that has an opening of a spaghetti noodle. So trying to fill it with distilled water without spilling it every where is impossible without a funnel. Which it DOESNT come with one. The opening is so small good luck trying to find one that will fit. Then when you finally get it filled... you have to very quickly ( I mean VERY quickly) flip the water reservoir filled with water upside down to place it on the back of the warmer. After you get that done, you have to clean up all the water that you spilled because it’s next to impossible not to. Now they do make the reservoir small which is another annoying aspect about this warmer. You find out you need to fill the reservoir when you bottle stops in the middle of the cycle and the screen says h20 Err. But make sure you are standing around waiting for that error message because if you miss it. It shuts off as if it’s done and completed the cycle and it’s not till you turn it on again you will see the error message and realize the last cycle didn’t even finish warming the bottle. GET A DIFFERENT BOTTLE WARMER. SAFE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE.
