I got this as a complimentary product for n honest review and I would definitely recommend this! First of all this arrived quick and Im so thankful and happy I did get to try this product. This is a great help for me and our baby since this is for colicky babies and my baby always suffer with those. He will always cry or vomit and with this special bottle it helps a lot. I love dr. browns since they dont limit their products. This comes with the brush already which is very convenient for cleaning. For mothers like me I will surely say this one is great plus a brush included is awesome.

These are hands down the best design for anti colic bottles, they are vented and allow air in, that being said if you fill a bottle and attempt to travel with it it will leak, unless you remove the nipple ring, vent and cap and use the solid caps or disc with the nipple rings. If you overfill the bottle the venting system fills with formula, if enough formula gets into the vent tube it will leak, that liner that say do not fill above line, it means it, the closer you are to the capacity of the bottle the higher the likely hood of this happening. If you lie you child back while feeding the risk diminishes the more upright and level the bottle the higher the likely hood. The original natural flow vent cap is more resistant to issues in my experience. I received this product as a gift for my baby shower and my baby boy still use these bottles. I like the bottles minus the small narrow nipples. So I purchase their other bottles with the wide nipples and I & my baby love it. Overall I love using Drbrown bottles and been using their bottles since my first childyears ago. Other than that I have not had any other issues with their bottles.
I bought 8 4oz and 8 8oz vented bottles and initially loved them. Baby took to them well and colic was minimal however at about the 3 month mark almost all the bottles started leaking from the rim. I did everything they mentioned that could be the problem. Tightened them, loosened them, didn’t heat them, took the venting system out when heating etc. nothing worked. Every bottle is now leaking and I am doing nothing different than I did for the past 3 months. I can only assume they don’t last, which is a bummer since a spent a pretty penny and now have to buy all new bottles not to mention the amount of breast milk I’ve lost. So disappointed.

I was also gifted the original versions of the bottles( my sister used them with my niece now 5 and nephew 1 and a half) None of the bottles have ever leaked on us.What I have noticed especially in the beginning of life that our daughter didn't know how to suck and would often spit back at the nipple and it would follow down to the ring and drip.Now that our daughter is 6 months we don't necessarily need the smaller ounce size however we bought the handle sleeves for the bottles. I received this as a gift for my newborn and he was having trouble eating from these bottles. it seems they fed him to fast for his speed BUT I contacted customer service and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They truly care about their customers and their babies. They tried helping me troubleshoot which didn’t help my babies feeding issue so they are sending different bottles and nipples to try that should better suit my baby. This company is amazing and everyone should buy from them because they really care and go above and beyond to help you be successful with bottle feeding!

The wire brush provided to clean the vents are none other than mascara sticks but flimsy made of wire. Once I try to clean inside the vents with this tool, it would bend making it difficult to use.4. I paid $17 for the set of 3 Options bottles. That is TOO overpriced especially for bottles that became permanently stained with white residue.*SIDE NOTE*The white residue is not only inside the bottle, BUT, on cap, the nipple, and the vent as well.In conclusion, I will not buy these bottles again. I am very disappointed with the white powder residue left on the bottles. It concerns me especially if my son is drinking out of them. This was my first time buying these bottles and I expected a better experience.
