I had bought this and tried it as my baby's first sippy cup. We have since moved onto different sippy cups but this was a good one for starting out and trying the sippy. The spout isnt too hard to get water out of whereas others it can be challenging. The only con I'd say is the flip top, it can get in the way sometimes when its open and in use.

I love Dr.Brown bottles even if they were a pain to clean, so I thought transitioning to the training cup under the same brand would be a success. It wasn’t. The nipple is so hard and difficult to clean. The handles are separated from the cover so washing multiple pieces gets annoying.

If your baby will drink out of a straw I highly recommend letting them try this cup! I have had the best luck and have ended up buying multiple of these for my little one. They're dish washer safe and aren't hard to clean, although you need one of the mini bottle brushes to get in the straw. Overall it's a really awesome transition cup.

Amazing transitioning cup!
23 August 2016

I bought this cup about week or so ago and it is the most amazing cup I've ever bought for my daughter so far! She loves this cup so much she takes it almost everywhere with her! From the bath tub to daycare she won't put it down! it was a fuss free easy transition from bottle to Sippy! The two handles on the side makes it so easy for her itty bitty hands to hold. It's great for me also because all I have to do it give it a little wipe here and there and the cup is clean! I'm very glad I came across this cup! Definitely a bang for my buck! I totally recommend this transitioning and Any Dr.Browns items to all my mommy friends and family! My baby is a Dr.Browns baby and always will be! Thank you for such amazing products!!!

Great cup, but...
23 August 2016

My son had several and the only issue was the cap. Babies throw everything to the ground and it would come off to the point that it broke. Also it kind of bother me, I'm not sure it bothered him having it attached to the cup while he drank. I wasn't sure if he wanted off or if he was just playing with it. We bought more and just took the cap off. We bought also other brands, but he wouldn't drink water as much, hardly any. Every time he drinks out of this cup he drinks a ton of water. We love Dr. Brown's anything. He had the bottles too! Pacifiers! And now the transition cups, toddler cup/bottle. We are not "trying" any other brand. This is it for us!

Great for training baby to use cup
24 August 2016

I bought this soft-spout transition cup for my little one to help train him to eventually convert to a normal cup. It was an amazing purchase. He easily transitioned from his bottle to the soft spout cup since the handles were perfect for baby hands to grip and the spout was easy to sip from. He quickly caught on and loved to carry around his cup everywhere! The flip top lid is every parents dream come true! No spills. No mess. No fuss. It's easy to travel with and I don't have to worry about it tipping over in the diaper bag and leaking everywhere! I highly recommend this cup for transitioning from a bottle and eventually to a cup!

Great sippy by great bottle makers!
19 April 2013

My daughter will only use dr browns bottles. and has been so since birth. The other evening I went to a friends house to pick up something and left DD diaper bag at home, expecting to be gone a few short minutes. In that time she got fussy, so my friend brought out a sippy cup for her to try and she instantly took it and drank from it (much to my surprise!). So I headed out to get her a sippy cup, and since she loves her dr B's bottles, I figured she'd love this.It does NOT leak! It does look like the cups silicone piece inside is blocking the fluid from coming out, but It is SIP ACTIVATED, which means you can tip this thing however you want to and nothing will come through which will make you think the silicone pieces inside are not supposed to be there, but they ... MoreMy daughter will only use dr browns bottles. and has been so since birth. Read your directions that come inside the cup! I tested to make sure the cup was working properly by putting it to my mouth (nothing came out), as soon as I "sucked" it, I got the juice to come through the nipple.I just bought it today, so my daughter isn't too thrilled with it yet. I will update in about a month to share how she grows to like it. :)

Ok but odd
28 April 2021

Our baby learned how to drink from this sippy and it doesn’t leak which is nice. I like having a lid as an option for travel and having around pets just to cover the nipple when needed, but we had to rip off the lid since it would flop shut on her face as she drank. The lid can be popped back on if needed but isn’t intended to come off and on. I don’t understand why the handles rotate on this cup and won’t stay put. Makes it hard for baby to handle and know which way is up/down for the nipple as they try to put it to their mouth. I like some of our other sippy cups better but they don’t all have the lid option.

Perfect!

Great sippy. Not complicated to put together and never leaks! Love the cover to protect the mouth piece too. The measurements (oz and ml) come in handy, especially since my daughter has been in the hospital for about 5 months, so we can easily keep track of how much of her required formula she is getting at each feed. I even had my husband drive home to get it vs using what the hospital gives us! My only complaint is that the handles are not in a fixed position and that piece can rotate around the whole cup. So it is not very easy for my daughter, who is relearning how to hold it herself, to grab it and just put it in her mouth in a normal position. You have to turn the handles around to be adjacent to the spout. That is really annoying. Other than that too, the ... MoreGreat sippy. Not complicated to put together and never leaks! Other than that too, the Occupational Therapist here said that this is a fantastic cup that she wishes they had here because of the amount of suction needed to get the milk (and you don't have to worry about them getting too much too fast) which would be a huge benefit for some of her patients!

this cup is awesome, my daughter prefers it without the handle, she has the pink version of this cup. when i say NO SPILLS, thats exactly what i mean. i swear as much sippy cups i run through , i know good, when i see it. for real though this cup is great and the cap is removable. im buying my 5 year old son one for car rides and my 1 year old daughter drinks everything out of this, and gets mad because she purposely like to spill liquids, so shes met her match, very easy to transition from baby bottles well after like the 5th try. she didnt want to stop useing her baby bottle to drink out o and make spills with, til the 5t day where i got rid f all my expensive avent baby bottles and left this one full with strawberry milk, she slammed it around a few times , ... Morethis cup is awesome, my daughter prefers it without the handle, she has the pink version of this cup. when i say NO SPILLS, thats exactly what i mean. i swear as much sippy cups i run through , i know good, when i see it. for real though this cup is great and the cap is removable. im buying my 5 year old son one for car rides and my 1 year old daughter drinks everything out of this, and gets mad because she purposely like to spill liquids, so shes met her match, very easy to transition from baby bottles well after like the 5th try. she didnt want to stop useing her baby bottle to drink out o and make spills with, til the 5t day where i got rid f all my expensive avent baby bottles and left this one full with strawberry milk, she slammed it around a few times , yelled a few baby words towards my way and finally drank all the milk out the bottle.
