Well made shoe. Just entirely to big. I knew they would be a bit bigger. But wasn't expecting it to fit me. Its for my daughter that can fit a size 7 1/2 women's. I thought a size 9 kids would be comparable. However this shoe fits me and I wear a 10 1/2 women's.

Great shoe, especially if you have a hard time getting shoes on. Being able to insert foot into shoe made it easy. Zipperwas easy to zip. Very comfortable. Looks great as well.

Her orthotics are so so much easier with the zipper, and my sister (a mother of 3 small boys) said "Every kid shoe should be made like this!".
We needed shoes to accommodate our daughter’s AFOs and after doing a lot of searching and even trying to go through our provider’s office, we found this website and the shoes are perfect. She loves them, they are perfectly designed for AFOs, and they are so affordable. I truly could not be happier with these shoes.
Our daughter was gifted a pair years ago and love Billy! So when the sale came along we were excited.I knew all sales were final so I felt like I was being extremely picky on the measuring and following the chart. But somehow we still got the wrong sizing, ugh!. It is almost one-two inches in length big on her. And now she can't wear them. We are so disappointed.
I really appreciate these shoes I'm an adult with CP who recently started wearing AFO's again for the first time in 20 years. These WDR high tops are the only shoes I've found that fit really well. They are extra wide and extra deep with a tougher lining to help them hold up against AFOS.I also own the Joggers made by BILLY shoes and my orthotics person was able to trim my AFO so the joggers would zip (because they are the shoes I purchased for my initial fitting appointment.) So the joggers work but I had to size up one size because they're not extra wide... and they're not quite as comfortable (because the extra depth on the WDR high tops makes them the most comfortable AFO shoes I've ever worn.) We ordered the toddler 10 wide high tops in pink.My daughter has a narrow foot and still need the wide. They fit with her braces but snuggle. But with kids I feel they need half sizes and offer more then 2 colors in wide.Her toes are at the end but the next size up would have been too big.My daughter would have loved thecheetah print.Prices are a little high when you have to order often hints why kids need half sizes as well. Plus kids grow out of everything quickly. On the other hand the price is around the same for more high dollar shoes.The first time I ordered I went by the chart and they was to small. My granddaughter wears an AFO with an SMO insert on her right foot, and needs a lift to make her evenly balanced on her left. Her normal shoe size would be 7 in toddlers. Shoes from another company that specialized in fitting on AFOs were a big disappointment. She ended up with a size 10 on her right foot, and in order for it to fit, it had to be cut about an inch on both sides.I absolutely love the fact that I had a sizing chart on Billy's website to refer to!! It made ordering shoes easy!! And we were able to go down a shoe size, and a 9 is perfect!! The high top provides enough stability for her left foot that needs the lift.Putting these shoes on her is So Easy, and they look Wonderful!!Will definitely be ordering up some more soon!!
My kid loves this shoe, but it's taking weeks to get the right sizes. Still don't have them. We ordered the right size, but we got one shoe that measured longer, probably mislabeled, then I have to pay for shipping to return it (even if it's not my fault) and you can't talk to anyone on the phone so it's literally been weeks of emailing which takes days for them to respond to. And in the process, it turns out the previous shoes we bought in blue measure a size 3, but it's labeled as size 4. I don't even know what to order. Not sure what's going on, but I'm not sure weeks of followup and emails is worth it. It makes no sense not to have an actual phone number when the product is so specific and requires some knowledge and help to purchase correctly.
