I like this cream so much especially when I'm wearing makeup. It doesn't flake and smudges. Smells light and pleasant but not chemically or scented. It moisturises my skin really well and keeps it soft throughout the day. Ive been using it for 3 months now. Best cream I've used under a makeup layer. The jar is really big in size so it lasts around for a good while. The price is really on the affordable side nothing crazy. I'm very satisfied with it and highly recommend!!

Absorbs seamlessly

This cream is rich, yet absorbs perfectly into the skin. It smells divine and doesn’t irritate my acne prone skin at all! The only downfall I have found is that the high amount of dimethicone in the product can lead to pilling of makeup on top. If less product is applied however, this no longer becomes an issue. I find it to be the PERFECT day cream for my irritable, dry skin and will never go without.

Have been using this product for years. Light and great base for primer and foundation. The best value for money no false bottom as nobody likes a false bottom. What you see is what you get. ALL product.

Favourite product ever

I have been using this moisturiser since I was 13 and I am now 29. I have tried a range of products and nothing compares to this. I had bad hormonal acne in my teens and this moisturiser got me through and prevented me from scarring. This is my favourite product ever.

Gives amazing, instant results.

I have been using Dr Lewinns amazing products for many years now, infact l can't live without them! The Private Formula Day Moisturiser is one of my favourites. The moment l started using it, l saw instant results. My skin felt & looked visibly smoother & radiant. It keeps my skin looking youthful & l highly recommend this product, it's my magic potion in a jar!

Great moisturiser

Great moisturiser. Non greasy and leaves skin feeling so soft. Been using for years and have tried others just for a change but always love this moisturiser!

Just don’t.

I wish I could get a refund. I bought this because of its reviews, but it must just be older people who are easily impressed. This is a very thick cream, it leaves a very heavy feeling on the face. I haven’t noticed any difference in my skin at all, it hasn’t improved or shown any slight changes. I usually don’t care if creams smell strange, but this one is next level, & the thickness only makes it worse. This smells like literal play-doh, like a verrrry strong scent. It all just feels very cheaply done. I’m extremely disappointed, as this was my first Dr Lewinns cream purchase. I like the toner I have by this brand, but this cream just isn’t worth it at all. I expect more from a more expensive brand like this. You do get a decent amount of cream in the packaging compared to other face creams, that’s the only pro for me.

I'm typically skeptical, despite seeing positive reviews, but was pleasantly surprised by Dr Lewinn's day cream. Very few products I've tried have kept my face feeling genuinely hydrated, dewy, across a day, or overnight. I'm not big on skincare, have no routines or rituals - but now find I am using this product almost daily since its purchase. It feels physically like it's making a difference - a daily reapplication feels notably quenching, soothing and refreshing. It ticked the boxes for what I was after and has been very worth the upper-mid range price (for face moisturisers out there). It's thick but still light to wear, creamy but rubs in easily, moist on skin but not super greasy/ sun-screeny.

This cream is AMAZING!

I use the day cream along with Dr LeWinns gentle cream cleanser and the refining toner. They all work wonders!! There was a week where I had ran out of product and I noticed the difference, my face was dry and I had a couple break outs. I can’t fault any three of these products. I’ve also now purchased the night cream (all in the private formula range) and can’t wait to review that aswell - I’m sure I won’t be disappointed.

product expiring in 1.5months

purchased online in Jun, received with expiry date mid Aug, had to go to the post office to return it since i couldnt return at store. whats the point of shopping online EOFY? meant to be save time and trouble. cant believe they sold skincare product expiring in less than 2 months!
