It has a metallic red-ombre effect on the main body of jar with white writing and the jar is low-set and sturdy giving it a luxe look to me. The pearls do kind of move around on your skin for a few moments before melting so some care in application is required. They do absorb well into the skin, leaving a little trace of fragrance after they dissolve and don't feel oily or heavy.PERFORMANCE:I've had the plumping gel for a few weeks now and I have been happy with its performance. It really does make my skin soft, hydrated and "plumped" with a subtle, healthy-looking glow. It has been gentle on my sensitive skin also.Overall, I'm impressed with this plumping gel -: it's great for dry, aging skin in particular and is gentle enough to be used both day and night as a hydrating moisurizer with a luxurious feel. I apply one scoop of product in my palm and rub my hands together to dissolve the collagen balls. I won't lie... I had little balls of collagen everywhere and I found it took a few days to get the hang of application. I've tried many, many hydrating gel formulated moisturisers on my skin over the year and I can say that this gel gave me by far and long the best results. I noticed particularly in my neck area that my skin looks firmer and beautifully smooth and my crepy neck no looked crepy after several weeks of consistent application. Although a bit of a challenging product to apply in the beginning, I fell completely in love with this gel and it will be a staple in my routine from herein. I love it!!

It wasn't a problem in the evening but in the mornings when I was in a hurry, it was a bit annoying.There was no scent that I noticed. The product felt fine on my skin. It was a little bit sticky but other than that, didn't feel oily and thick. Once dried, there was no residue that could be seen. It didn't particularly hydrate my skin more than my regular drug-store moisturizer. In fact, I felt that my usual moisturizer was more hydrating.I also didn't notice any wrinkle-filling effect or particularly radiant skin.I used it for about 3 weeks. Maybe if I used it for longer there would a cumulative effect. For now, I can say that the Dr LeWinn's Ultra R4 collagen surge plumping gel is a great moisturizer and doesn't clog up your pores. It's light and hydrating. It's not too thick and rich. I tried it in queensland summer but I think it would also be a good moisturizer for the dryer winter season.I like that it's a big mouthed bottle as I can then use every single bit of the product easily. I hate it when products come in little pump bottles or tubes and there's loads of product left at the end that you can't use.Anyway, back to this. it was hydrating and therefore, helped my fine lines not look as obvious but they were still there, and not filled in. Having said that, I've tried many topical collagen products promising to fill wrinkles and none of them have succeeded so far.I would recommedn this plumping gel to my friends as a great daily moisturizer.
