Love my new Docs!!! I started with a softer iridescent pair but now I'm onto the classics, have started wearing them in, and they look amazing. Very happy. They fit well and arrived in perfect condition. Online ordering was easy once I finally decided which pair to go for. I will be ordering a care kit to keep them looking and feeling great.

My daughter loves her first pair of Dr. Martens. She loves the more platformed bottom on these and the black outsole. She has not had any issues with breaking them in yet. She wore them around the house and then on two long walks in the snow yesterday and Iâve heard no complaints. She is wearing them with heavy weight Darn Tough socks. So that could be making a big difference. We also got them a little on the big side in a womenâs 8. She is an 8 but these seem to be roomy. I am a womanâs 8.5-sometimes 9 and I could fit my foot in them fine. Although Iâd get a 9 if I were to actually own a pair. She is just 13 so it gives her foot room to grow and if not we can always add an insole. Very good quality so far and hopefully sheâll be able to wear for years to come. ... MoreMy daughter loves her first pair of Dr. Martens. Shipped very fast and I bought a different model and a different size while figuring out the style and size needed. The return process for unused pairs has been easy thus far.

Iâve not wore Dr Martens since school (mid 80s) and as soon as I put these on I thought why did I stop wearing them? I was expecting the dreaded pain across the foot and at the heel, there was initial pressure at the heel but after a few minutes that went. They are true to size, the height helped with the fit and support and I love the overall style. Did forget Dr Martens are slightly heavier than dupe versions but still love them

Listen, folks. If youâve ever found yourself complaining about the one tall person who happened to pick RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU as their ideal live music viewing location, youâre not alone. I say, if you canât beat âem, join âem. The Bex soles are perfect for giving you that little extra âboostâ of height without being so rude that it seems like youâre doing it on purpose. For that reason, I recommend it as the best overall option for a sturdy concert boot that wonât make your feet too sore after standing on hard concrete for several hours!
I respectfully disagree with those out there who think these are hard to break in or uncomfortable shoes. I have awful plantar fasciitis and have only been able to wear running shoes for the last year - until now! My daughter convinced me to try these which was not a huge stretch as I had a cool collection of Docs in my teens and 20s, but now in my late 40s I once again love Docs! Thanks!
Loving this boot. The size is true, although a little loose/wide but I have narrow feet and I can wear thick socks to adjust. It is stiff and not as comfortable out of the box as my other docs. I added ribbon laces and these are soooo cute ! I love them! I wore them around the house and to the office to break them in. Try warming the leather up and then walking around in them. The warmer the shoe the more they give. 10/-0 recommend.
This is my second pair of docs, but my first pair of a more classic style. At first, they were definitely uncomfortable to put on, but I quickly broke them in by wearing them to work for two weeks.I got a womens size 7, and Iâm normally a 6.5, so if anyone is a half size like me, definitely go up rather than down!Theyâre super comfy now that I got past the uncomfortable stage, and they look great with every outfit. They also make me taller (Iâm only 4â11), which is a huge plus!I promise you wonât regret these! I wear them all the time now.
After pouring over the website, reading reviews, and browsing photos I finally landed on the 1460 Bex Smooth leather platform 8-eye. I first ordered a size 9, which is my standard size shoe. I have a wide foot and after reading mixed reviews on sizing I figured sticking with my normal size was safe. Unfortunately the 9 felt way too big even after pulling the laces in and wearing thick socks. The shoes were loose everywhere except at the top of the boot, where it felt tight around my ankle and was digging into the back. I figured this had to do with them being too large elsewhere and me having to pull the laces tight. I returned and ordered a size down to an 8 in addition to 2 other styles, both in size 8 (Bex Chelsea style and Vegan Jadon II). The smaller size felt just slightly too small now at the toe, felt a small bit looser at the top, but still dug into my ankle and was very stiff overall. In comparison, when i put on the Vegan Jadon II they were immediately comfortable all over (however the size 8 did end up being too small in those as well so I ordered a size 9 and love them). Ultimately I bet the 1460 Bex Smooth leather platform 8 eyeâs would have gotten more comfortable over time. But i felt between sizes and personally ended up liking the Vegan Jadon II better.
I bought these for my daughter and in all things, you learn a lesson. I am an older guy and remember when things were built for the person, not the company. Doc Martens has a particular brand that is very popular but that popularity is marketing, not product driven. Having worn Army Surplus boots since the 1980's, I know boots. And this is the equivalent of buying un-treated cow hide that has yet to be tumbled. Or like purposely stiffened Jeans that you despise having touch your skin but it's a particular look. This was the second pair as the previous ran small and now these do as well. So I paid nearly two hundred dollars for boots this kid will likely have sitting on a shelf, which I can understand, since it would take years to soften these up. So I paid nearly two hundred dollars for boots this kid will likely have sitting on a shelf, which I can understand, since it would take years to soften these up. And they are so uncomfortable, that she will choose them ONLY on special occasions to show off. They will never be an every day boot. Your company makes a fine product but what of it? If you can't be comfortable and enjoy it. Thats ridiculous. It's a status symbol and useless. A waste of money. I could buy used similar boots at Good Will for $6.99 (or used to be able to) and DID, which my kids grew out of and gave away. But those boots were soft, comfortable, looked great, and lasted forever. I could easily have bought cheapie boots at Walmart NEW for $40 to $60 dollars that would easily rival these in form and fit. Could you call them knock offs? Perhaps. But they would have shoes leather that was already pliable and comfortable in-store. Not something you had to wear for two years before you made an ankle crease. That's nuts.I feel ripped off. I used to sell shoes and my father was a Furrier and Leather hand bag maker when I was a kid, so I know what goes into such things of finery. This product is a JOKE by comparison. In the 1970's the Levi Straus company decided to take the drastic measure of adding rocks to the pockets and tumble washing their products to make them more appealing. It worked and the entire world wanted soft Jeans you could put on and have that broken in feel. Perhaps your company might consider getting off your dumb high horse and making something that is worth the ridiculous price. I desperately wish I could get my money back.
I bought the boot, used for two months, and the leather started peeling. Usually this donât happen with leather.I already have other DMs and I never had that problem before.I returned this one (I asked if I could keep it - I use it for work every day and I was not allowed).I received a new one, but I just think itâs unfair for a product that takes a long time to get comfortable, when it has a defect, the only solution is to exchange for a new one and go through the pain all over again.I wear D.M every day!Every time I need a new one I switch between the old and new one until it gets comfortable. This time the new one was already comfortable, so I donated my old one. Now I only have the new one that hurts a lot.I donât think I should be âpayingâ for a defect ... MoreI bought the boot, used for two months, and the leather started peeling.
