These boots are beautiful. The workmanship is super with a grand attention to detail. These are the best non western boots I own. Break-in was minimal, approx. 1 full day of wearing. I had to send the first pair back as your sizing guide did not work for me. They were WAY too tight. It was easy returning and they sent me the return label They stand by their products. I would buy from them again without hesitation.

The design of these docs is great, I bought these for dual use mainly. Would go perfect with a suit or just the standard pair of jeans. They fit true to my size and I didn't experience any discomfort when breaking them in, which as they're soft leather this only took about half a day of wearing them, I wear docs all the time but having a pair of totally black boots just has a different affect on my casual style. They're comfortable and definitely suited for everyday use. Would recommend!

The style and shape without the bold stitching. Bought these to replace my Polyurethane dupes, which lasted a solid 2 years or so before the soles came apart. Leather is solid even with the smooth correction, scuffs heal up nicely and it feels sturdy. Boots run true to size, I wear a solid 10. Half sizes may want to go up rather than down unless you have a rather narrow foot. Easy to break in, after a week you can hardly feel them and last well throughout the day. If your a first time buyer just be aware of the chafing points around the collar, the heel, and the toecap. If you're a month in with no change in discomfort, you likely got the wrong size. Pair this with a care kit and you got some lasting boots fit for everyday wear.

Love the look and feel of these kickers, but after wearing them for no more than 1-2km of walking I got the worst blisters ever on both feet. Was wearing decent socks, and the boots fit fine if not moving around. Should come with a warning tbh. The ball of the foot is a little narrow for what is typically my size so if you have wide feet maybe test live before purchase.
Brilliant quality of leather, cut and overall boot style. Doing the job brilliantly for not just a cool look but protection at the studio. Total security and no fear of wet feet ever again. What else can one desire.One piece of advice: needed to go 1/2 a size up to normal choice, aka UK 6.5 instead of usual UK 6.Apart from that, Thank you Dr Martens!
I never want to take these off because they are so comfortable. The all black mono is awesome looking and I especially love the black soles! Use the wonder balsam, heat your boots up with a hair dryer gently, not hot. Then message the leather, wear and you are good to go! So far, all my boots are easy to break in. Just make sure you don't go too small in size, or they will never be comfortable.
I have worn Doc’s since the 90’s (which I STILL have from before they sold out). I needed a comfortable pair of boots for work, so i thought Doc’s! I hadn’t bought a pair in many years. When I opened the box, I was shocked at the low quality of leather and sloppy construction! So sad! The difference between the old school docs and new is readily apparent. I will be purchasing Solovair from here out (the REAL Doc’s, still made in UK, not Asia). What a shame….
Brought two pairs. First pair had a thick piece of material under the tongue on both shoes that digs into the top of your feet. Brought another pair as I thought it was just a fault with quality of one pair but it happened again although only on one foot. I was trying to get a picture before I sent them back but the angle was to hard. I won’t be purchasing another pair of this particular boot so i have gone for a different style
I’m a true 9.5 and do wish this company would make 1/2 sizes. Come on already give the people what they want! Regardless I first purchased a women’s 10 on a whim when I tried these…then did my homework and the next day when back for the 9s. People advised to purchase next full size down if between sizes. And I sure hope that was cornet. The 10s where huge so this really makes most sense. I have worn them around my house to break in slowly as I hear they are tough to break in. They have not hurt my feet yet breaking in. I did treat them with wonder balm. The five stars is for how they look, holy gorgeous. All black are you joking. So understated and sleek but rugged. Love. The stitching that holds the tongue in place cuts into my foot right at the place where it bends at the ball of my foot, at the base of the toes on top--cuts REALLY bad. I was hoping I wouldn't have any issues because they lace and are adjustable--I wasn't expecting to have problems right there!Now, these are leather and so I've got a boot stretcher and stuff to try and fix it, and I think I can, but man. What the heck is that about. Absolutely rancid.Everyone recommends docs but I just can't seem to have a good experience with them. I can't really return these so I'm gonna have to make do. :( I'm never getting them again though.
