Absolutely love my new boots. Perfect with every outfit with the stunning rose design to make it a little bit different to the norm. Although a little expensive, completely worth it for the quality of the material and comfort and amount of time they will last for. Didn't take much to break them in either! I decided to finally treat myself to a beautiful pair of these stunning Vonda rose DM's, which is what I have always wanted since I was about 17 years old. I received these a day later and to my surprise I opened them like a teen. The detail of the roses are absolutely beautiful, the stitching on them and the feel of the detail are wonderful. The leather being softer are lovely and supple, not solid. I tried both on which fit comfortably apart from my right foot, I currently have a little problem with the top part (where the stitching is) at the bottom of the tongue, it's a little tight on my foot, yet my left foot fits great. Either way I'm currently wearing them twice a day everyday for school run until I can manage to mould and break the right boot in properly. I have always been a major Dms fan but i am so excited to wear them for anything and everything. My daughter's cant stop looking at them and they are excited to see what i wear them with. So far it's only been 5 days but hopefully it won't take too long. I am absolutely in love with these boots.

Love these boots! They are tough, but feminine at the same time. This is my first pair of Docs. The detail and workmanship in their construction is very apparent. I can see they'll last many years. I only wish that they were made with a side zipper for easy on and off access, like the taller version of this boot. I bought a pair of those as a gift for my daughter a few months ago, and tried them on briefly, but sadly those won't zip up around my calves (even with the laces loosened), so I got the shorter ones for myself. Both pairs are awesome, though! I find that they run a little large. I normally wear U. S. Size 8, which is what I ordered, and I almost think I could've gone down a size. My Rosey Docs are brilliant. As I said in the other review though I should have returned them - too snug. But no they had to go on.straight away, snug or not. But seriously a beautiful , craftsman’s job. The Boots are so soft , not heavy at all. But if I ordered another style of Docs. I’d go up a side to a four. I am Seventy Four years young and always liked Docs. I’m so chuffed now I have a pair. Thank you to all who make them . Roses are really pretty, feminine I love them
Quality leather, nice design, but not with £169.The stitching at the base of the tongue digs into the top of your foot, when sliding your foot in. Making my foot feeling bruised and uncomfortable.If the stitching and raw edge were facing downwards instead of upwards. The raw edge wouldn't push against the top of the foot. The raw edge would sit flat and comfortably, if the raw edge was facing downwards.
You know I contemplated about purchasing these boots. I went ahead after reading reviews about these 1460 Vonda floral leather lace up boots. These are really cute and the leather feels amazing. The roses have great detail and I cannot wait to wear them. With all the rave with floral and rose prints out now I paired these with a rose print Coach bag and rose print scarf, perfect for the holidays. I usually wear an 8 & a halve and went with an 8 perfect fit for me because my foot is on the narrow side. If you would like to wear thick socks in the winter and your In The halve sizes then get that bigger size, you will love these

I saw some advice online to work with it and try inserting tennis balls or lots of socks to stretch that part until it didn't hurt, but I don't have that kind of time or patience, so figured I'd try a 10 instead. I have to say that these are lovely boots. They look to be so well made and the stitching of the roses is lovely. As for comfort I have to be honest as with all Dr Martens they have to be worn in over time. Unfortunately, on my first attempt at wearing them they gave me a very bad swelling on my left ankle and foot, so I am having to very slowly wear them in, and it is going to take quite some time. It is a shame but so far, I have only been able to wear them for 30 mins at a time in the house. Hopefully they will break in soon and I will be able to show them to the world.
They’re absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately they’re a little small and I was told they would stretch so to get the 7 rather than the 8, but they’re taking a while to and they’re uncomfortable while they’re stretching. I needed a 7.5 really but they didn’t do a half sizes. I think they’re so cool though and if they fit me right then I think they’d be comfy enough. They’re not very wide or deep. They do run true to size length wise though, it’s just a shame they don’t do half sizes throughout. Saying that, I do love them so I will deal with it!
Husband purchased these for me. I'm about to turn 54. LOVE these. Super pretty. I wear a Docs size 6, and these were true to size. Little stiff at the bottom part of the tongue. They loosened up after 1 full day of wear. No issues with blisters or the tops rubbing my calves raw. VERY comfortable! Relatively lightweight.Before purchasing I called up the local Dr Martens store. She said these fit like the Pascal boots so bear that in mind.
