This is our classic 3 eye shoe. The second style that dr. Martens made, the shoe was crafted for industry and made rebellious by generations of non-conformists. Made with crazy horse, a hefty leather with a waxy finish, the 1461 is crafted with the same doc's dna as its 8-eye counterpart grooved edges, yellow stitching and our iconic, comfortable air-cushioned sole. Best of all, the sole is secured using one of the finest construction methods available the goodyear welt. Product details material natural-type oil finished leather, with a worn, distressed appearance. Care instructions clean away dirt using a damp cloth and allow to dry, then apply dr.martens wonder balsam, add to shoes using the sponge applicator supplied with the product. Alternatively if a higher level of suppleness is desired, dr martens neutral dubbin could be used follow application instructions on product. Construction this is a goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
