Although there may be cheaper kids school shoes out there these dr m’s are simply the best. Lasted all year with minimal obvious wear, comfy and reasonably waterproof. Best school shoes I’ve seen on my kids in 6 years. If they can stand the schoolyard 5 days a week for a year then they must be tough. DM reputation secured with these. Just bought another pair for this year

Bought these Dms for work, as I couldn’t find the soft leather shoes without the yellow stitching. Super comfortable with a cushioned sole, didn’t need breaking in at all, and formal/office appropriate. I would say they’re true to size, as 4 can sometimes run a little large for me. Quality is great, I’ve worn them to court and with a suit!

We love Dr Martens so had to get these for our Daughter for school. Sadly her school don’t allow the classic yellow stitching but we were really happy to see these came in black stitching.They are on the big size but aren’t causing any blisters as yet. I would say the fit come up big.

Excellent school shoes for my daughter who walks a mile to school and back. Sturdy, wide fitting and great to have the all black option for her very strict uniform rules. Also much softer than the adult ones so don’t need breaking in, she’s had no blisters at all. We had them last year and they lasted really well - worth the money as I would have probably spent the same if not more replacing cheaper shoes.
I bought these for my daughter for school. They’re really comfortable straight from the box. They conform to school rules of being completely black with no logo. So perfect choice of shoe for school and of course with the added bonus of looking great outside of school too especially now winter is coming.
Previous pair lasted the full school year. Even when used for biking to school. We bought them for their durability and they haven’t let us down so we have bought a second pair for the next school year. Yes they scuffed a little at the front but regular polishing (the old fashioned way) has kept them looking smart. If you look after them they will last. Clarks are not a patch on these.
Bought for school. 14 year old girl. Soft leather, Fits with schools right rules on branding and coloured threads, but kid still likes them. Comfortable all day. Surviving rain. Kid walks minimum of 2 miles per day. No blisters. We sized down. We needed something more robust. These are a good price. Hopefully they will last. My last pair of DMs lasted 14 years, we are not expecting that long, but a couple of years would be a bonus.
Really soft leather and comfortable to wear. The style is natural so it's perfect if you're like me looking for a pair that compliments more stylish clothes and be able to go for miles on foot in them. I purchased half a size extra so I can wear these in winter with thicker socks.
