Purchased this pair of docs for my daughter who is in secondary school. It took a couple of weeks to break into it. Initially she wore it to the shops a few times and once she was ok with the feel of the shoes, she wore it for a whole day at school. Definitely a pair of shoes which will last a very long time.

This is a second pair I've bought for High School teens, why bother with cheap shoes that only last a year. And a bonus to have a sales person who clearly knows the brand, the young woman who helped us was fantastic!

They're inside the Dr. Martens shoebox that's sealed within another box so there's no chance of damage.As for the shoe itself, it's perfect- I've bought Dr. Martens directly in store and there's no difference in quality or condition from purchasing on this site. These are super cute and easy to pair with any outfit! Be prepared for a lengthy break-in period though; these are real leather so be ready for blisters etc. I recommend wearing them for short intervals over weeks. To prevent cracks etc, grab some "wonder balm" from the Dr. Martens store!

I was so impressed with my 1460 boots, I bought my wife a pair too. Plus a pair of 1461 shoes. In the same size as my boots. I was disappointed as my sizing was way out. The shoe sole was physically larger by 6mm and was loose . My 1460 took a month to brack in but are perfect now
