My son has had these shoes every year for school. They last all year so end up being a bargain! Currently on our 6th year and still VERY pleased! Big bro prefers another brand of shoes and they never last all year like Docs do!Only negative I have to say is that as he is a child he often walks around with his laces undone and these laces do fray and come apart really easily compared to trainer-style laces. Although I understand this is not the fault of the Docs and is in fact excessive wear and tear!
These shoes look super smart and fit great for smaller adult sizes (2/2.5). The leather is also much softer than the adult version and there is some cushioning around the ankle which is great for those who want to avoid the painful breaking-in stage.Unfortunately the pair that I got had a manufacturing fault where the sole wasn't firmly attached to the upper the whole way round. Due to them being kids shoes, it looks like they aren't made to last, as the upper and sole are only held together by a little bit of glue.
My son has had DM’s since he started school , started with the softer Velcro and then moved onto these , 2nd pair so far , last well , comfortable leather and better than any Clark’s or other alternative. Great fit and look cool for school.
I was looking for a cute loafer or Oxford with good support to wear to work as I have higher arches and cannot tolerate flat shoes. I have worn these everyday since getting them, and they’ve saved my feet! I’m a size 6 in women’s, and I got a 4 in kids.

Recently purchased a new pair for work after my old pair of over two years where a bit battered. I forgot how bouncy new docs are. I find they run large so size down.
