Got these as a birthday present and loving them so far! I'm usually a size 8 but got these in a 7 and they fit great, pretty comfortable from the get go too. I was worried about the width but they do not feel tight at all and don't rub my feet like other shoes usually do.Obviously they require a bit of breaking in, they are quite heavy and chunky so wear them around the house first before walking for miles in them. The padding around the ankle is amazing, one of the reasons I went for this style.Really enjoying stomping around in these beauties, would definitely recommend to people who want a lil extra bit of height. 10/10 would recommend!

I have been wearing these shoes for years. I am a server and I am not happy with these shoes at all. The last two pairs I have purchased have been VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. My feet hurt during my shift and after my shift my feet are very sore. I have been buying these shoes because they were wide enough for my feet. They no longer are wide enough for my feet.You’re company has definitely changed the make of these shoes. I will no longer be buying these shoes. At the moment I have slightly wet towels shoved in the shoes. Hoping this will help them, so I can wear them.Sincerely, a unsatisfied customer.

I emailed Doc Martens to ask what was the closest current model and got an auto-reply I'd have an answer in 3-4 days. A week later I got an email asking if I still needed an answer. I replied yes and it auto sent the same question. I answered yes again and repeated my question and heard nothing.Finally looked around and figured this was the closest. Didn't like the new sole design but at least it was padded inside and looked like the Kent's. Ordered and got it and am very disappointed. Size of this make runs 2 size larger than normal, the worst is the customer service was near non-existent - There is no live chat online, only email, it takes forever to hear back and then even longer to process. Went to the nearby store, told they don't have anything to do with online purchase! With a pair of shoes priced at $170 + tax, the experience is horrible. I bought this for my daughter's birthday, so much for a pleasant surprise. She resources to buying a new pair that she can make sure to fit her, and we are still waiting to deal with the refund of the one arrived by mail, after near one month.
i usually wear a 8.5 in other shoes depending on where i go so i got an 8 a while ago thinking that would be fine but they were wayyy to floppy. with these i got a 7 and these fit a lot (!!!) better. to break them in , i wore them to work every day for a week and i wore two pairs of socks that whole week. now i wear them to work most days and they feel fine. i will say, my right pinky toe will rub against the shoe after i wear them for a while (at least a few hours) but i think i just have a crazy pinky toe bc it’s just the one side. for size reference , my feet are built pretty narrow and i wear a 8.5 women’s in converse and a 8.5 women’s in vans. i got womens 7 in my docs.
after reading the reviews i was worried my usual size would be too big.. i have skinnier feet so i was hesitant for that reason. i still went ahead and got my usual size and figured i’d just exchange for smaller if i needed. my usual size 6 worked perfect! i love the padded ankle- that’s why i picked these in particular. they don’t rub and i had no issue wearing them before they were broken in. long term comfort isn’t great, but i didn’t expect them to be super cushy. they’re very aesthetically pleasing and fit really nicely. don’t look too clunky either! i recommend your usual size. only real complaint was when i first started wearing them my heel slipped out when i walked because the shoe wasn’t broken in enough to bend with my foot.
i was worried since everyone said these are uncomfy but they're honestly not! i love them and it didn't even take a week to 'break in'. Just get them in your size (or a little bigger) Also they're super cute and go with everything, I've gotten lots of compliments on them already! They're my new everyday shoe (:**beware they do squeak on certain type of floor but only certain kind, for the most part they don't squeak!
