While the quality of the shoe itself is exceptional, I was unimpressed with the sizing, return policy and customer service. There is no true exchange program, half sizes aren’t available and the shoes are designed for a more slim foot which not everyone has. I purchased the 8065 for my 10 year old daughter for school, needless to say, they didn’t work out. Upon returning the second pair for an additional $14 in total, there was a label error. I called the customer service number to address the problem as they had not refunded my $101 yet and the rep who took my call ended up laughing at the situation and proceeded to hang up on me. I was disgusted and outraged. I did get a helpful representative not long after and it is being addressed but never in my life have I ... I’m extremely disappointed it didn’t work out and I will not shop with this company again.

I’m so glad that I finally ordered these. I’ve wanted them for ages. I wear an 8.5 (US), and ordered an 8. They’re a perfect fit. For perspective, I have high arches and I do not have wide feet—they’re kind of skinny. So adjust your sizing accordingly. Sizing down to the closest whole size was right for me.A few things. They’re very stiff when new. That’s by design. But it also means they’re not the most comfortable shoes immediately out of the box. The leather is high quality and quite heavy. It doesn’t flex much when brand new. They definitely need to be worn and broken in. I got a blister on my heel because I wore short socks the first time. I’ll wear longer socks until they soften up a bit.The buckles are hard to unfasten and fasten. But again, that’s because ... MoreI’m so glad that I finally ordered these. I’ve wanted them for ages. Once they’re broken in that won’t be an issue.I’ve owned many Docs over the years. They all have to be broken in, and then they’re a dream! My first pair were monk oxfords that I wore every single day for 10 years! These Mary Janes have all of the earmarks of being my next favorite pair. This brand just seems to last forever. I also have a pair of steel toe lace up boots (combat boots) that are now 22 years old, and aside from a few scuffs, they still look and wear amazing. I have no doubt that these Mary Janes will last for years, too.

This is actually my first pair of Dr. Martens. I’ve been wanting to try them for years. I was a little intimidated about the breaking in process. I usually buy shoes that don’t require that. I have to say it was very easy. It really only took me about four days to have them completely broken in. It was so worth it because they are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve owned. I love them so much I just ordered them in white too.

I loves these shoes, super comfortable from the first wear, comfy sole and lots of space around the toes! Such fantastic quality as I've come to expect from dr martens. Really durable and brilliant for the dodgy British weather too. I usually wear docs for work and they're comfy for the whole shift. I tend to pick the boots but I really wanted something a bit different this time and I'm so glad I chose the Mary Jane's they're a funky twist on a classic and they really fit the vibe I was looking for.
The email came through with 2 colors and I wanted pink, but all sold out, so I got the beige. These are super comfortable and felt lived in as soon as I put them on. The only reason they got a 4* rather than 5* is that they must be worn with socks; in summer your feet sweat and you need a buffer between your skin and the inside of shoes so they don't smell AND the material, in this case the leather, can irritate certain spots on the top of your foot, so much so that I got a bad blister from rubbing at the top of the T of the upper. Great shoes otherwise. I'd love another color.
I can’t begin to tell you how much I love these shoes. They’re comfortable, stylish, quirky and so cool.I’ve worn them every day since I got them. they go with all anything I wear.I have so many DM shoes and boots I’ve honestly lost count. Im simply addicted to the brand and very proud of them all. They give me a sense of individuality, uniqueness, boldness . Whenever I’ve got my DM’s on, I’m so proud to be the person that I am today. Someone who is kind and compassionate, never judging or hurting others, always willing to help despite the fact that I am a disabled lady and always in pain.My DM’s make me happy and put a smile on my face . On my next birthday I will be 58 and I know one thing for sure. I will still be rocking my DM’s for many years to come and ... MoreI can’t begin to tell you how much I love these shoes. I’ve been on the lookout for a comfy pair of shoes for almost a year since having surgery on a foot and trying to find something suitable for some with Morton’s neuromas in both feet. Someone I work with recommended these as she has wide feet, as do I it turns out! I am still breaking them in at the minute, so what I can say about them is that I think they run a little large (I usually buy a size 7 and these have a couple of spare millimetres in the length. I will remedy this by buying a heel grip), and that they can be adapted to the width of you feet within reason. They fit me well width-wise on the loosest fit of the foremost buckle; any tighter and my neuromas wreak havoc.Otherwise, they are stylish and obviously Doc’s, the sole is bouncy as promised and the ... I had a pair of these back in the 90s when I was in high school. Instead of black, they were a beautiful burnished brown/burgandy leather. They were my favorite shoes. I wore them out over a decade of adventures and was brokenhearted when I had to put them out of rotation. It's such a pleasure to have this style in production again. I'm so glad I took a chance and bought these shoes without finding them in a store to check that they would fit. I have missed having the comfort and style of Docs in my life. I'm glad to be back in the fold. I'm on my feet all day as a teacher, and these shoes have great support and the chunky soles keep my feet out of puddles. These are great to wear with pants or dresses.
I usually wear boots (Docs, A.S. 98) or sneakers; wanted something in-between. These fit the bill - dressier than sneakers, but with the Doc Marten vibe. I wear 6.5-7 in most shoes, but my usual Docs size is 6 and these are no exception. So far very comfortable. Love that the shoes are slip-on; no need to undo the buckles. As some reviewers suggested, I also tried a size 4 Big Girl's version, but it's not the same. Much smaller profile, stitching less pronounced/visible. Fit fine, but looked like any little girl's Mary Jane - didn't have the clunky/funky Doc Marten vibe. Spend the extra money for the women's version - it's worth it!
I haven't worn a pair of Docs in over 20 years. However, I wanted a reliable pair of shoes for work that are stylish and comfortable. I remembered my Doc-wearing days and decided to get these fabulous Mary Janes. Love them! It takes a few wears to break them in, but they are very comfortable. The sole has a soft cushion and the body can sustain a lot of wear. They are also perfect for my somewhat narrow feet. I can wear them without socks and they don't slide off. Can't go wrong with Docs - a tried and true classic.
