Purchased directly from Dr. Martens. This is a gift for my niece and the quality on these is very good. This is called “Adrian snaffle” and it has a polished, smooth finish. This has quality craftsmanship and will last a long time. We purchase lots of shoes from this brand as a family and will continue to do so

Fit true to size for me

So heres the thing, I usually wear an 8w in docs, and because of the difference in style from boots and the other reviews saying to size down, I got the 7s. I actually am a true 8 on one foot and closer to an 8 1/2 on the other. They were okay for a couple days, very tight as you'd expect, but pretty quickly I realized that the bigger foot was too small. Gave those to my mom who was eyeballing them, and ordered the 8s. I love them! Break in was easy like my other docs, yes they are stiff. Recommend the wonder balsam on all the seams for sure and wearing thicker socks for a week. Docs are my favorite shoe really, they just have a way of forming to your foot. No heel slipping either. I'm glad it worked out for me and my mom lol!

Great looking loafer

My daughter loves her new shoes. We bought her regular size but had to exchange for a smaller size. We'll made and comfortable. Standard excellent Doc quality

Great shoes

Super comfortable. A little stiff on the tongue area but that's to be expected with leather shoes. I've been wearing them all day and it's getting better already. I'm a teacher and I'm on my feet all day. I'm in the process of purchasing my third pair of different styles of Dr. Martens. I'm a convert!

Heavy Clunky Shoes

These are heavy, clunky and stiff shoes - and I mean that in a good way. Good craftsmanship and solid. Definitely takes a few wears to break in. But definitely worth it.

Love the look, but uncomfortable

I love the look of these shoes BUT they are very uncomfortable. I wish they had the leather of the combs Wyoming boot and a more comfortable foot bed. Please think about remaking these in a more flexible shoe. Same exact design but more comfort. I can't see anyone breaking these shoes in. I would definitely by this design loafer if it was made more comfortable. Right now I am wearing the combs Wyoming boot. First day, so far so good. Love them.

Not comfortable

It’s a great look. But they’re not the most comfortable. The buckle hurts the top of my foot and then once I start using the leather starts getting cracked in wrinkle. Great style it’s a classic style but not the type of shoe that you would get a lot of use out of.

Timeless style

Be warned, get the insoles, and prepare to break these in. If you wear these sans-socks know that the leather inside may rub your skin in an unpleasant way. I did have to put a moleskin patch on my arch to avoid a blister.After about 2 full days of breaking these in, the fit was amazing.This style is one that can be dressed up or down and brings an element of panache to any outfit. I get compliments from all ages and genders on these shoes.Added tip: if you have a retailer near you, go try them on in person. I sized 1 size up, but with insoles it was a little tight. Also good to know, all of the loafers fit different in person but these were quite wide comparatively

Wish I'd received them!!

My daughter wanted these for Christmas. Although expensive I'd ordered them on November 18th. The 24th came and in text it said they were on way with tracking number. Next few days it was changed to no delivery date and still the same. I sent message but it came back as well lookninto this and get back to you in 3 to 5 business days. I hope we receive them by Christmas they've already took payment from bank account so I just don't know what's going on. This was the big gift, she loves Dr. Martens but I'm not happy right now.

Yeah, nahhh

I wouldn’t encourage anyone with wide feet to but these. My daughter has chunky wide feet and these were impossible to get on. Sadly had to return them. She was so bummed.
