I applied some leather conditioner and they should be good to go.Also included are the black/yellow laces, which are a nice touch.More than happy with my purchase, and looking forward to getting years and years of comfortable wear out of these.

I got this on a sale for $75. It was my first Dr. Martens and needed a pair of boots for my trip to Scotland during the cold January month. The sizing was spot on and the fit was perfect. Dr. Martens's shoes really are unique in how they feel inside. They look uncomfortable but they are quite in fact one of the most comfortable shoes I've worn, walking a couple of miles per day. These are now one of my go-to shoes, especially for colder months. Makes it even more amazing that I got them at nearly 60% of the full price.

Blast from the past! I love these boots just like I did in the 90s! I read the previous reviews where it stated they run big. That is true since I wear a size 7.5 and the 7s fit wonderfully! Always a stylish and strong boot! I will get the lilac ones next! 😁

I bought these to wear to a P!nk concert. I threaded pink satin laces in them and got so many compliments. Not to mention, they seem really well made. Between taking public transportation and the concert being in a stadium, I probably took 15,000 steps that night, and there was NO pain. On my first time wearing them! These are fantastic, and I am buying men's shoes as often as possible from here on out. They're wider than women's and work great for my bunion situation.
Loved the black ones so much I had to have them in brown, they are so comfortable and love the way they look. I have the Mary Janes as well. I will be 70 next month, I only wear my Dr. Martins all fall and winter long. They compliment all my clothes. From long skirts to short ones and leggings, I love them
Main problem I have with this product is the fit, not the length, but the fit. They just don't feel like they fit right. Length is true to size, but something with the width, or maybe the shape of the insole under the balls of the feet just feels off. Possibly buying a spongy insert to fill up the boot might have helped, but I didn't try it as I was not a fan of the leather either, so I returned them. Although I have not received a refund yet, the return policy seems very fair to me. With Dr Martin's great reputation I am sure there won't be any surprises.
Love these boots. The leather quality is good and the look is excellent.I only have two issues with the boots: 1) the laces are too long and I'm trying to figure out what to do with the extra length of the laces each time I tie them, and 2) there is a spot at the back of the heel that rubs on my foot if I don't have the shoe tied tightly which can be uncomfortable.Overall they look and feel like a great boot.
Bought these for my grandson, heading to camp for a week. First - he loves them, they are comfortable, no break-in period, good ankle support. Second - they look really cool. And as it turns out, they are waterproof, provide good traction in mud, and clean up well.I appreciate the quality - I bought these same boots for my son when he went to camp - 25 years ago - and they are still the same well-made, hi-quality, good-fitting, great-looking boots! You can’t ask for more than that! Oh wait! The price is incredibly affordable!
These were very good, very solidly made, actually comfortable too. I used to have a pair of docs similar to these with this amazing cushioning inside that were the best pair of shoes I owned... Have been looking for a suitable replacement ever since those shoes needed retiring (wore them into oblivion). These have slightly less padding on the inside but are much more comfortable than other pairs of docs I've tried so I'm quite pleased if still sad I can't find the exact same pair I used to have. Only thing I wish was different on these was that the top two rivets for lacing were hooks instead--makes it so much easier to get these on and off, as it is I have to fuss around with the laces for five minutes to get them on and off properly.
Other reviews said these run really large, but I didn't find that to be the case. I am usually a 9 with wide-ish feet. I always get 9s in docs, and they're roomy, but 8s are too narrow for me. This one followed suit, and fit similar to the other two pairs of docs I currently have. But they are pretty stiff the first few wears, and the foot bed is also kind of hard. I bought the doc brand inserts to add a little more cushion to the soles and that made a HUGE difference. I left the original soles in, and just put the doc inserts on top, and these are pretty comfortable now. I will say that the way this leather is, any bump or scratch or nick WILL leave a mark.
