These are literally the best shoes ever made! I wore this pair right here every single day for ten years and they still look pretty dang good and the tread doesn’t have any holes in it ( it’s worn down a bit but what do you expect?!) I just can’t get over how well they have held up! It’s insane! Also I was very rough on them! I’ve already bought another pair but I still wear these! Highly recommend

Great boot, but…

I can’t really rate the boot itself yet because I have yet to wear them, however, I can tell you they are comfy after trying on and I can tell they are of good quality. I knocked some stars off because the online buying experience is a hassle. You’d think for a shoe company that sells decently priced products they would have better return/exchange policies. I am a new mom so my feet are 1/2 size larger than pre-pregnancy. I was a 6.5-7 before and now I’m a 7.5, so, I ordered a size 7 based on other reviews that they run large. Large is an understatement. The 7’s looked like clown shoes on me. So I thought, no big deal I’ll just exchange them for a size down (they don’t make 1/2 sizes???). Love these boots!! So comfy and cool

I don’t know if there are many people out there that suffer with the serious issue it is for me to shop for shoes, but hands up if you feel me! The shoe or boot inevitably either gives me a blister here, a pain there, rubs too much here, way too narrow, which the sales rep will always say ‘oh, they are real leather, they will stretch’. Although I’ve learned at my age just don’t do it. So heck yes I’ll give these yummy boots a review which I rarely ever do. No break in required

These fit like a dream from the first wear. No break in time needed! I love the texture too. I might get some different laces for them as the ones they came with are a bit long. I'm normally a 7.5 in a lot of shoes and sized down to the 7 for these (my normal size in Docs). I'll probably end up buying the brown too for fall.

Soft, beautiful, comfy from the first wear!

Love these! I've only worn them once - but that was to London on the train and walking about 15k steps. I thought they might hurt that first day, but the soles are lovely and bouncy, and the leather is gorgeously soft. They are a *tiny* bit tight across the toes, but the salesperson told me that's normal and they'll stretch out after some wear. I also normally wear a 6.5, but went into the shop to try these on to make sure I ordered the right size, and ended up sizing down to a 6 because the 6.5 felt loose. After thinking I wanted the slimmer, more feminine version for a while, I went for these in the end because they're unisex and I liked the boxier look. Really pleased with the only Christmas gift I asked for!

Soft, squidgy and smell gorgeous!!

I bought these in cashew because I have a pair of MIE in black tumbled leather. I have plates and screws in my ankle and the soft leather is perfect for comfort and support. I did however buy these in an 8 rather than a 7 (my usual size). My 'dodgey' foot and ankle is very wide and that extra bit of length has helped with that. I love, love, love this leather - it's not thin like the pascal but thick, soft and supple. I've just given them their first 'balsam treatment' and the colour now is richer. If you want boots that you don't have to wear in, get a pair of these, you won't regret it.

Well worth the money

I have been considering DM's for about 2 years now and eventually decided to get on and buy my first pair. It was definitely a good decision! They fit true to size, the leather very soft and already comfy, the sole is flexible and fits well & as you would expect the quality looks really high. I look forward to wearing these for many years and buying another pair soon, unless DM are kind enough to choose me for the free pair!

love these boots!

these are my 6th pair of docs and they’re by far the comfiest pair i’ve ever owned. took literally no breaking in because of the soft leather. wore thick socks for the first week or so but didn’t do anything differently. i picked these specifically for the matt look and brassy eyelets and i love them. i originally wanted the vegan 1460’s because of the gold eyelets but they were insanely uncomfy, so very glad i found these!
