I discovered Dr. Pepper about 5 years ago for the second time. I thought it was ok back in the day but my go to was always Coke or Sprite. I got hooked on DP after trying it again at a movie theater. Now Coke and Sprite have fallen into the background. DP has such a unique flavor all it’s own and I love it. The taste makes me happy. The only way I would drink Coke or Sprite now is if they’re the only options available. I think a lot of people must have discovered DP as well because it’s getting harder to find at the grocery store. And the fact that they almost never have it at fast food joints or restaurants just makes me sad.

Doctor Pepper takes me back to the days of being a kid. It has a special something in it that tastes so good. We love it on a hot day, but it has to be drunk cold in a glass filled with ice. It also tastes great in a good old fashioned float using vanilla ice cream to top it all off. A real #family #favorite and a crowd pleaser. I have been drinking Dr Pepper for so many years. I was first a Coca-Cola girl, then moved to Pepsi then moved on to ONLY DR PEPPER. Everyone in my life knows I need a Pepper. Ice Cold. Even in the middle of winter. Once I became pregnant and was breastfeeding I switched to the mini cans because I needed a hit and couldn’t be without. There’s just something about that taste that special blend of 23 flavors that makes my tastebuds tingle. I can’t describe the euphoria I feel when I drink it; it’s like in that one moment, I know everything will be okay, it’s peace.

Growing up in Australia, Dr Pepper was never easy to find. It was a luxury sold at specialty candy stores and was always really expensive because it was imported from the US. When I first tried it I was immediately put off by the artificial cherry flavour. I honestly cannot stand it! That is just my personal preference though. I can see how this would be a refreshing beverage for some. Maybe I’m just not used to it but I really, really do not like the flavour.

As a kid this was a soda that wasn’t available in Canada, so we only got it as a special treat when travelling to the US. It’s available everywhere now, but I still have good memories of special occasions whenever I drink it. Being older, I don’t often reach for pop, so when I do have a craving for something sweet amd bubbly I love that it is always available in the little mini cans (no half full bottles of flat pop in the fridge this way). I generally have no loyalty to other soda companies, and will even buy generic if it’s on sale for other flavours, but this one I always have available as is.

You are my "go to!" You're my best friend (the kind I secretly want to marry). You pick me up and never fail me. You don't hurt me (except for the time you threw my heart out of rhythm but that's not important rn!). You're even delicious after sitting out all night! Even when some evil places try to water you down, I can still taste your tingly singed goodness! You need me as much as I need you! Our beautiful symbiotic relationship will forever be! And I promise to never, ever leave you in a hot car again. 💜

Diet DP Strawberries and Cream-FANTASTIC!

I have been searching and 'auditioning' diet sidas for YEARS needing to replace drinking regular sodas. Diet Dr. Pepper Strawberries and Cream is phenomenal. You can barely--- barely--- discern that it is diet. Praying they do not discontinue this amazing drink. If you are sesrching for a regular soda replacement, trust me, this is it. No one hates diet drinks more than me and this completely blew me away. It is a wonderful addition to the Dr. Pepper line. It deserves 10 stars.

This is a complex soul searching question which begs for contemplation of Why.It's early, and when you're in the mood, there's really nothing quite like Dr Pepper. To some it tastes like prune flavored cough syrup, to others a little wonder about what else could taste so good, still be thirst quenching and contain enough sugar in one bottle to bake 2 pounds of sugar cookies. (I'm just making that up, it's probably 4 dozen).I'm just glad it was in stock and on sale. I did have to throw the 2-liter in the freezer for 45 minutes, but it was worth the wait. It's the real thing, and for some reason beyond my comprehension everywhere else seemingly only stocks diet at 4am. Who drinks diet Dr Pepper?
