The lawn cutter handle is 5pence flimsy plastic held together shoddily with 1 rivet.
Arrived on time. Looked sturdy and proved to be so when used. Did a great job on edging the lawn.
No issues with this tool, it performed well and for the price you cannot go wrong. The tool had no problems cutting through the dry lawn to create a great edge. Would recommend this tool.
Within 20 minutes of using the Lawn Edge it bent at the point where the blade and shaft meet. It claims to be made from Carbon Steel...more like tin foil.
Bent after ten minutes use on the day I purchased it. The handle is a lightweight thin walled steel tube that bent at its narrowest point just above the blade. Toolstation gave me a refund, they don’t sell any decent quality lawn edgers. I have since read several other negative reviews of the Draper lawn edger on other websites stating that the handles bent.
the lawn edger is perfect, its also got a lip on it to use if you need to use your foot for extra pressure. very pleased with it.
Turned up with broken handle. Bent in half within 20 minutes. Absolute rubbish
