It does what I expected quite well however the leverage required to operate means you have to have significant muscular grip to crack the bulbs.longer handles or shaped to get the required pressure needed. Regretfully will not be used by my wife so it will sit in the appliance draw and I will use when I cook or when I'm asked to operate.

Had this over a year now,I love garlic and have been thru many devices,this is by far the best. Easy to use and hasn?t broken,most are flimsy and fiddly so really pleased to have found this.

This is amazing! Crushes and pushes out the garlic so easily. You don't even have to scrape the garlic off with a knife edge as it scrapes it off for you! Then you just press a button to push out the garlic skin without ever having to touch it with your fingers. Every kitchen should have one of these! I love it!

Worst garlic press I have ever used. None of the features work very well. Threws it away and replaced it with a much cheaper all metal one which works a whole lot better.
Does it crush garlic? Yes Does the scraper work? A bit, and then you need a knife to scrape it off the scraper. Does the poking bit work to clean the holes? Not very well Does the lever work to push the scraps out? No not at all. Considering asking for a refund to be honest.
It's easy to use and clean. It's durable and I suspect the last garlic press I'll ever purchase so it's worth the investment to me.
I have tried many different garlic presses, the top brand one is great but after a while the coating comes off. This press promises so much and nearly delivers all. The main point which is crushing the garlic whilst still in it's skin it does pretty well. Not perfect, there is still some wastage, but it is effective. The lever for flipping the remains out doesn't quite remove it all, it has a scraper so you don't have to use a knife and the prongs to remove the remnants from the bowl. Overall I am happy with this; the others have all now gone in the bin!
Not worth the money. Does not work as advertised. The plastic construction are cheap and nasty and the handles bend when trying to press garlic.I wish I had not been tempted to buy it. Get the metal version if available.Art of Living should not be offering poor quality items like this alongside superb brands like Le Creuset.
Decided to buy the younger brother of the metal Garlic Press to see if the concepts were good. As long as you don't fill the bowl with too many cloves and take the skin off of half of them, it works really well. The skin ejector only lifts the center of the bowl, but that is usually good enough. the minced garlic scraper gets most of the garlic off, but having a flat implement nearby will ensure you get it all. Dishwasher gets most of the garlic skins, but nooks and crannies need to be checked. All-in-all, it's a good kitchen tool for the price. Construction looks sturdy.
