A real beauty for a only coffee drinker in the house, that is if 2 or more daily coffee drinkers it would regular very regular emptying but for me PERFECTO!

Longevity first - I had my previous box for over 16 years and it got banged twice or three times a day almost every day over those years. Robust would be the best word to describe its longevity.The rubber like sleeve on the knocking bar certainly takes the impacts in terms of wear and tear. Inexpensive, functional

If you want a knockbox, hard to find one at a lower price. But it does the job, and I see no reason it won't continue to do the job for a long time. Plastic container seems solid, don't have to worry about paint chipping, metal discoloring, etc. Solid enough to bang away at without problem. Padded bottom to keep from marking countertop, reduces noise a bit.

Perfection in form and function

You think to yourself, "Self? Are you stupid enough to spend good money on a lil tub with a lil bar across it?"Sheepishly, you reply, "Well, if. It not for the yard work and the errands and the other side projects and the other other side projects, then I'd just make one and drill a big hole into my countertop and they'd call me tattoed Angie or some other badass barista moniker."But then it arrives and you just can't believe that something so small and sexy could possibly fit everywhere you need it to fit and feel so solid and hold just enough pucks for those dial-the-dose sessions on Saturday mornings. And you know that you always would have had a little tweak to your design and you're just like, "Thank god for the Grindenstein."

Small but solid

Its pretty small, smaller than what I thought. Holds 5 (58mm) pucks comfortably. Overflows at 8 pucks. Otherwise, its pretty solid and looks durable.

This thing has a lot

This thing has a lot going for it. I gave it a 3 because the bar is right in the middle so you can't help but get wet grounds all over the bar. I do like it, but it's just shaped a bit wrong. I love how small it is and how it takes so little counter space.

Way more sturdy than we thought.

The non slip base leaves a little bit to be improved on.However, we had the Avanti mini knock box and that lasted only a short while before the rubber at one end of the bar came loose, negating it’s whole purpose. This one has already been much sturdier and we know that it’s at max a three hit puck ejector. Very happy to recommend.

Well built but small knock box

Like some of the other reviews, I like the build quality of this knock box. It has a solid and strong construction. It stays put on my counter and is very stable. My one issue is that, due to its small size, there is not much room to easily knock the puck into the box. I wish the bar was offset more to the front or back so that there would be more space for the puck when knocking it in.

Worth the expense.

This is a great idea and certainly seems strong enough for the abuse it gets. It takes me a couple of whacks to remove the grounds. If I leave it too long it is even harder to remove the grounds, but just needs an extra whack. One thing I would liked it to have is a lid/cover, as the grounds smell out the kitchen, and its not a lovely coffee smell. So I just lay a piece of kitchen towel over the top which does the job but isnt good looking. I dont empty it outdoors every day, so a cover would make it my ultimate Knock Out Box.

compact

Ok it was smaller than I expected but that is often the case when buying online. However as it is so compact it actually fits under the group head of my coffee machine so when a coffee **** does not come out with the group head I leave the knock box there and wait for it to fall into it. I can also leave it on the coffee machine and have more bench space so all in all a good buy for me.
