These are wonderful and work well with any type of pizza. I have cut through even the thickest Chicago-type pizza with one pass and the pieces are cleanly cut with no need to repeat the cut. The scissor is designed to easily serve the cut slice, as well. Love, love. love these scissors.

For years I have struggled with a pair of worn out kitchen shears to cut my homemade pizza but no more. These pizza scissors are fantastic and so easy to use. I highly recommend them! I highly recommend King Arthur's pizza flour too!

I got a pair of these once upon a time (I see they are now back) and cannot imagine using anything else to cut pizza now. Perhaps a very thick dough would be challenging and I typically do not bake thick dough pizza. Yes, a rocker works well (and make one look like they know what they are doing). For me these scissors work great and clean much easier than a wheel cutter. They have a nice edge and I find other uses for them.

I had my eye on the pizza scissors for a long time. I was so glad to get them. I make pizza at home all the time. I use regular scissors to cut it. It works, but not always easily. These pizza scissors fix the issue! I am so pleased with my purchase. Another great King Arthur product.
I live alone so when I get a frozen pizza I cut it into smaller serving pieces and it has always taken a while and makes a mess. The pizza was frozen so had to use a little pressure but was soooo much easier, faster and no mess. Very glad I got this handy tool. And I would recommend it.
I love these pizza scissors! I have scratched up more pizza pans than I want to remember. I've tried kitchen shears & pizza wheels; they all scratch up pans. Not these funny looking scissors! They work great!M. Nelson
I used it for the first time last Friday and it worked great. I have tried cutting pizza with a rotary cutter (I suspect that needs sharpening) and with a large knife. Both give so-so results. The scissors worked much better on a thin crust and a regular crust. My family doesn't like deep dish or extra thick crust pizzas.
I love these scissors. They do four things quite well:1. Cut pizza.2. Save my fingers from being burned while transferring said pizza from pan to board because [see #3]3. Keep my precious pans from being scratched by the pizza wheel.4. Once again, protect my hands as I wash and dry and re-cover the aforementioned treacherous pizza wheel.Bravo!
So great! I was over the classic roller pizza cutter. They were always dull and you end up pressing the dough (and potentially scattering the toppings) to try to get it to cut. These scissors are great! They cut the dough quickly and easily. The flat edge on the bottom allows the cutter to slide easily under the pizza. It's fast! It's effective. I will never return to the classic cutter.
works well. I have used it on thick and thin crust pizza. not that great on a deep dish pizza but still works OK. this seems to be more for thin to medium crust pizza. it may not work that great on a Detroit style pizza. I say this guy has his place, but don't throw out your pizza wheel style cutter and a good sharp kitchen knife. all of this is handy for one's own pizza experience. it makes a difference which pizza you are serving up. I am a happy camper with these.
