When I saw the product I was worried that I didn’t buy the more expensive metal version, but then I used it and it worked very well! This product has no problem mashing 20lbs of potatoes! No need to buy the more expensive version when I only use this at Thanksgiving & Christmas.

The colour is what we preferred; the styling is brilliant as was the packaging (which I also mentioned to the supplier). The effort required to work the masher was a little more than we expected. But I suspect it will become slightly easier, given we have only used it on two occasions.

Love this masher, my old stainless steel potato masher was destroying the non-stick finish on my good pans. This works just as well and because it's silicone, does not harm the non-stick surface.

I bought this 2 months ago! Ordered 2 and received 1 🙀 I bought it on sale but it’s still pretty expensive… But worst of all it doesn’t work!!! I tried mashing potatoes, and it only goes about 3/4 of the way down in the pan and buckles up on itself. Tried it on vegetables, doesn’t work.
This Dreamfarm Smood Lite is a really nice kitchen tool. It will mash potatoes, avocados, bananas and more. The handle is really comfortable and won't hurt your hand. The masher part has some nice spring action to it and works well.
This kitchen tool does an awesome job of making potatoes, apples, squash to a creamy smooth consistency. I purchasef a second smood as a Holiday gift.... Who likes Lumpy mashed potatoes during the holidays!?!
I am pleased with this tool. I think that it is reasonably priced device, and seems like it will last a good amount if used properly as it is plastic. I enjoy how it keeps the veggie/fruit in one location as your mashing to control the mess. The shipping definitely kills the deal from the site
It mashes an avocado okay, but you do lose some of the avocado pulp more than with a metal utensil unless you take time to try to scrape out what is stuck in the end. I haven’t tried it on potatoes yet, but it seems to be a suitable alternative to similar metal utensils.
Great tool. I can use it for multiple purposes. To smash vegetables now is much easy. Even my toddler daughter can do it and getting alit of fun. Like BRA free and that can be washed in dishwasher.
Admittedly, only used once or twice but it mashed like a dream. Pleasantly surprised. And I can use it in my expensive nonstick surface pots and pans!
